  1. ... at a cost of £80,000 prompting one of them to write "80k in the footballing world isnt really a lot of money. Dont think the Al Qadis would miss it." Oh yes they would. It would be £80K more than they've spent to date.
  2. No, we haven't Peg. You're right. However, the Joe Payne séance is still scheduled for the Sport Bar and Grill after the Birmingham match.
  3. At least they've got chips @Bristol Rob
  4. 4,060 from a crowd of 11,946. I saw them briefly during a match report on Sky Sports. I think that the ref must have forgotten to blow his whistle to end the minute silence before the kick off because they were extremely quiet.
  5. This is one challenge I'd have to decline although someone needs to fork some sense into him.
  6. Yum. I'll eagerly wait for my voucher to turn up.
  7. Sags claiming that pepper spray was used against them. Do we have that #DMS @Bristol Rob?
  8. Normally it just stays attached to the goalposts.
  9. City stewards in the away end, obviously.
  10. It's probably just that canvas isn't a good amplifier of sound, Netty.
  11. ... us people on the other side of town keep calling ...
  12. What a strange story. "yes we had been on an all dayer ..." said the Gashead but their game against Swindon was a 12'o'clock kickoff so that's barely an excuse. Lightweight!
  13. It made me smile at the end when he pointed to a red shirted player in a print of a Rovers v City match (I guess it will be quite old) hanging on his wall and said "[Matty] it'll be strange to see you as one of these fuckers rather than [pointing to a blue shirted player] one of these".
  14. "So the barman said he'd put a lovely head on my beer ..."
  15. Upgrade the Mem? Start with a blank canvas, you mean?
  16. I see that tomorrow, unusually, both City and the 15'ers are playing at home with a 3pm kick off. @Purple Paulmust be in a quandary wondering which team he should go to watch. No doubt he'll be inscrutably fair and go to neither. We're playing in the FA Cup though whilst they have a league match against Northampton. Did they not enter the FA Cup this year? Are they boycotting it? Anyone know?
  17. The gas summariser on RB said that both teams have different home and away shirts sponsors hence the reason why they routinely change strip. Such an approach deprives football supporters up and down the country the opportunity to enjoy seeing the famous quarters, which hardly seems fair
