  1. I have zero knowledge of the construction industry, would you speculate that since planning was granted costs would have increased massively?
  2. They drew up plans and had them approved for the Men about 5 years ago...
  3. If Wally doesn't splash the cash this window, then I think we can assume that his ownership of Rovers will be remembered as a property deal gone bad.
  4. Quite agree. What will be interesting is if Wally decides to give a mate who has done a bit of coaching in Jordan a job, or if he goes with tried and trusted candidates. If I were them I'd be nervous. So far the club have over achieved with no investment and with a manager who (based on results) has been unsackable, the first test of the new regime will be when decision time comes around. I look forward to it. It's gonna be hilarious.
  5. To be fair, with no investment from the billionaire, he assembled a squad capable of getting them to League One. The only way is backwards now without funds, and I don't imagine Dopey will hang around if that isn't the reality.
  6. All being well, he'll load the squad with shit players first and then do the offski.
  7. You really should take the time to incude the original posters name with these! If I hadn't noted the poster, I'd have assumed that one of the lock-out crew has infiltrated us! (But you're fine*). *as a poster, don't be getting any ideas.
  8. Register the URL and save the NHS! Or something.
  9. *sings* Do the Gas and Vac And bring the Conference back..... *what?*
  10. They shared secrets about their championship ready sprinkler system with the Russians.
  11. Rovers have announced two new signings.
  12. And with the 50 grand in change they can really crack on with the cleaning.
  13. At least 10 million. If that Kodjia is worth up to 12 million, then super Matty must be worth ten MINIMUM.
  14. Maybe they'll have a closing downwards sale.
  15. Where on earth did you find that!?!
  16. BREAKING NEWS:!:!: I'm thinking that I might put a few of my empties out for recycling - EVEN THOUGH IT WON'T BE COLLECTED UNTIL FRIDAY. Sorry. It's just then when cleaning the kitchen and running the Hoover round warrants a press release, I thought you should know. As you were.
  17. YEAP. Definitely coming for us there. Not sure that signing Screech from Saved By The Bell is going to propel them to the next level; but if it means Wally gets a step closer to his FIFA representative dream, who are we to mock?
  18. Bloke in work who claims to know people associated with the blue few reckons they'll be targeting Devante Cole in the summer as their replacement for Taylor. Not the most prolific of players, but he's quick and I'd imagine that if he gets enough chances he'd be a regular goal scorer.
  19. Turf turf turf. They forgot about the pitch.
  20. Pretty sure that on one of their first ever visits to the national stadium they produced a range of tshirts that celebrated the fact they were going to 'Wembly'. Spelling like that can only make you Prowed.
  21. I like the #gaslogic applied to their fan accounting skills. We got 300k for Taylor, and we made similar from the game against Chelsea so there is money available!! Err, no there isn't. Your break even figure exceeds the capacity of your ground, and the monies generated from an away game and a player sale will go towards reducing your losses. Just because this is extra money, it doesn't mean it sits there willing to be spent. Applying #gaslogic would mean that most people have savings calculated on the difference between their credit limit and their current balance, conveniently forgetting they don't actually have that money because it isn't theirs. What was it? Debts of 10mil?
  22. Sainsbury's have reported profits are down by 8%. Is this due to the challenging market place, the value of the pound falling or a change in shopping habits... No! It's because 'Gashead Dave*" has decided not to buy something from them. Bless them. How many stores in Bristol have closed since they made their reversal? Would that be none? Stopped buying fuel? Yeah. That'll kill them. Not buying a loss leader.... *with apologies to anyone called Dave. I'm sure all of the boycotters have checked their company pensions to ensure that their lifetime investment doesn't include shares in the same.
  23. Given they only have one set of dentures between them, they've probably been campaigning for mash.
