  1. I hope they have reached out to Nev, his floor joists must be creaking under the weight of stuff he has.
  2. Didn't similar sort of happen for one of our games against Watford, the pitch was playable until it was due to start.
  3. And then everyone takes legal action against Wycombe.
  4. Those championship ready spinklers must be working overtime.
  5. I was under the impression that a lot of regional broadcasters were faced with reapplying for their roles or taking a redundancy package, if you were Geoff's age, what option would you take?
  6. Can't help but think that the acts have been chosen because a decision maker has these particular artists as their personal favourite and expected lots of other people to like them as well. If we were all to curate our own 2 stage, 1 day festival I'd be surprised if anyone on here all picked the same acts, but I'd wager than enough of us would pick bands/performers that would get people to think... 'Hmm, I've not heard of all of them, but the theme of the music is up my street, so I'd be up for that'.
  7. No idea! But if we add Dylan Kadji (sp?) In to the mix as well, we could see the club releasing players that NP used (either out of necessity or because they were ready) less than 12 months after their involvement with the first team squad. And if they do come back from a pre season, then their pathway is seemingly blocked.
  8. So with the signings we've made, does this mean that the likes of Omar Taylor-Clarke and Marlee Francois aren't expected to be good enough in the next 12 months.
  9. Any idea if this is before or after Bridge Valley Road? (Based on a journey that would use Bridge Valley on the way to BS3)
  10. The limited routes of the AG bus services are quite frustrating, I'm sure if the club under took a comprehensive travel survey they'd be quite encouraged by those who'd like to use more public transport, if it was available - they might even be able to profit from a scheme. There are fans in Longwell Green, Kingswood, Gloucester Road, Keynsham who all have to take multiple busses to get to BS3 on a match day which come with additional challenges getting home - so the default setting for a lot of people is to take the car.
  11. Pretty sure it was Gary, around the same time as that Always Believe nonsense.
  12. He'll get the international call up he craves when he moves away from the Fewers.
  13. I think it was Billy Sharp who was at Sheff Utd at the time who played the day after his son had died - Billy scored a goal and lifted his shirt to reveal a message dedicating the goal to his lad. If memory serves, both the opposition manager and the ref were aware of his loss and his intention that if he did score, he'd be making a tribute statement. Neither the ref nor the manager wanted to see the player punished if that happened. He never got booked. Common sense.
  14. I have read that Charlton, Wrexham and Bolton are all interested and that both Charlton and Bolton have had bids rejected. Now, ordinarily when a player is in demand, the price goes up as the selling club generate a bit of a bidding war. Why do I think that the Fewers will be the first club in the world to have a Dutch Auction for their player, where the club say 'right, we want a million... and then keep bringing the price down until someone blinks'.
  15. I think they are already behind the Vixens in terms of average home attendance. So they do lay claim to being the 4th biggest supported side in the City.
  16. To be fair to the OP, when it first opened, the Sports Bar was just that, and then it changed.... It's 60% food - if you can get a table - and hospitality over-flow. It ceased being a meeting point and an extension to the Fanzone when the general going-got-a-bit-better. Fair enough, it probably turns a fair coin, but if you want to meet your mates or have a pint, go to a pub.
  17. I think the problem Cam might have with his no-nonsense attitude towards defending is VAR. An asset to any side, just not necessarily one where every cough is reviewed by a dozen different cameras and a gallery of so-called experts. You wouldn't want to play against him. But under the level of scrutiny of top-flight cameras, would you get 90 minutes out of him, or would he get sent off for playing the game as WE like to see it played.
  18. I have more Championship clubs with the same number of appearances. Does that make me worth more than a Tilson?
  19. Reckon most of us could build a half decent squad with 600mil.
  20. The release fee is likely to be the starting point at which the club have to start a conversation, if 3 clubs come in, they can probably accept the highest offer above the release fee.
  21. Job swap with Southgate.
  22. You have to wonder if Screech who Wally signed is going to be doing the coaching. This production line they have never stops.
  23. Wonder if they have hospital corners.
