Not too sure there are many parallels between Rovers and Brentford though....??

In 2020, Brentford F.C. moved to a new stadium with a capacity of 17,250

In 2020, Bristol Rovers talked (yet again) about moving to a new stadium with a capacity of (Ashton Gate Capacity + 1)

I might apply, I’m quite a handy person.

On a totally unrelated note, can anyone lend me some red gloss paint? Enough to paint a whole stadium.

You will be better off with a fabric dye ... perfect for any tent!

DYLON Fabric Dyes are the easy way to add colour to your home, wardrobe & dilapidated football stadium. From all colours bright and beautiful to rich and intense shades

According to Bristol World some guy they were looking at playing for York has decided to drop a league to Scunthorpe instead. ?

That's because there is only one c n u t in Scunthorpe but there are dozens of them at the Mem!

One of their coaching staff held up his hand and asked “how many fingers am I holding up”, he didn’t say 6 so they had to bring him off.

Surely there must be something in the regulations about that sort of sordid behaviour?

  5. This is what ChatGPT has suggested in less than 1 second ... it sounds pretty close to the combined efforts of the board and fans combined ....

I wouldn’t mind betting that there will be a reduced capacity at the Mem (no tittering at the back) at the start of next season if they decide to break camp.

This report states that they have yet to have a structure designed, modelled, costed and agreed. Once they know definitively what they want, they’ll need to find and appoint a contractor, assuming that there’s not a veritable army of retired construction workers willing to heed the club’s call and do the work for free. If it ever sees the light of day, the club will need to run test events to satisfy health & safety regarding suitability of the new structure. Doesn’t sound like a 6 month job, given that presently it’s just a pipe dream.

I have heard they will stick to the same contractor who provided them with so much experience with their previous big top experience who can turn his hand to anything at the Horfield Circus...

I heard their scum bag manager talking to Twentyman* a couple of weeks ago where he stated they were ‘knocking on the door of promotion’. They are 18 points off sixth having played two more games, knocking on the door of promotion indeed!

I’ve heard some nonsense over the years from people trying to big up bang average teams by saying how close they are to the playoffs, but this must take the biscuit.

*As an aside, has anybody noticed Twentyman’s absolute refusal to call him Joey? Just always makes me chuckle while everyone else is, but Twentyman will only ever call him Joe.

    Absolutely no doubt at all!
