Kasey Palmer V Oxford , decent strike. 3-1 atm every shot on target a goal , 53% possession for Oxford.
Hope nobody’s bought train tickets for Cov away.

No greater tribute.
RIP a true football great.

The fact it’s the 4th game in 10days is all too evident. The two teams remind of two boxers hanging onto each other in the 12th round.

Scott is a good player but he has serious competition.
You can add Cole Palmer to that list as well.

McCrorie was what I was thinking, but with our injury record it could be anything.
He played in a practice game today, so very much doubt it. Could be West Ham next Sunday, or more likely Preston away before we see him in the squad.

We looked like a team of undertakers.

Word for the ref. No yellow cards in what was a physical game. We’re quick to criticise, but possibly the only bloke on the pitch to have a good game.

Tired performance. 4 games in 10 days is too much football imo.

Why are we playing in black. We’ve won 3in a row playing red and white. Why change?

This thread rightly dragged back up to highlight the ridiculous over-reaction to a narrow away loss at a decent champ side, where we played ok. Some of the comments are outrageous.
We were awful until we went 2-0 down and then had a 20 min spell when we played well until Manning brought on the 2nd lot of subs.
Now water under the bridge.

Part of me wants them to go up. Bring back Bristol derbies. Badly missed.
The Bristol derby I want to see his Clifton St Vincent Reserves v the Gas in Division 4 of the Downs League.

Didn't Radio Bristol start in 1970?
Seeing as it's the Radio Times and the North East Edition is publicizing BBC Radio Durham, maybe the local copy NTTDS has is advertising the first Radio Bristol local sports coverage on a Saturday afternoon as it's near the start of the football season date wise for 1970
Just looked it up and you’re bang on. Radio Bristol started Sept 1970.

I think NTTDS should be banned from starting any new threads until he reveals the answer. That’ll learn em.

Thanks. Yes I never labour the point or make clear my views about them do I!
Agreed. I think Ipswich should make the playoffs but top 2 is now slip
How sweet would it be to beat them in the playoffs, have stranger things happened...us on a surge to 6th or 5th, them slumping to 3rd or 4th.
Yes. Strongly fancy Southampton to hunt Ipswich down and take the 2nd auto spot.

Thought Joe Williams was immense.

Can we carry that performance into the 2nd half?

2-0 fully justified.

Really wasteful upfront.

Cam Pring off his right foot!

I see Williams for James as no more than rotation. Expect to see James back in the team on Friday.

Personal opinion, I wouldn’t rate him above Vyner, Dickie or a fit Atkinson.
