A very positive interview in some ways really hope they back up those words
I thought the number of “you knows”, a form of seeking reassurance, betrayed both his defensiveness and nervousness.

Anybody who sets up with a back 3 is an absolute no no for me.

From Tinnion said in his Pyongyang style interview we’ll continue with a 433 formation.
Can’t recall how Brum set up against in Aug. Wasn’t 532 was it?- 1

As much as I’d like this thread to be true, is there any actual firm evidence that SL wants out. My understanding was that he’s looking for a minority investor.

From the briefest of cameos I liked the look of Knight Lebel on Saturday.

Anyone mentioned Graham Potter?
I’d go for Harry Potter who could wave his magic wand and make the Lansdowns disappear.

It's hard to understand how SL could have ever possibly started/run such a successful business.
The success of Hargreaves Lansdown was largely due to the business nous of Peter Hargreaves. SL was just the bean counter.

If Nige were to go there are 4 obvious candidates.
Beale
Eustace
Jones
Rowett
My preference would be Beale, but you can bet your bottom dollar we would end with Jones

Will end up at Rovers..
Good call. His style of hoof ball will be ideally suited to the Gas and their neanderthal supporters

As someone who is portrayed on here as a Nige apologist & who never criticises, I do think we are owed a fuller explanation by Dave Rennie and/or Nige.
McCrorie could be considered unfortunate with an infection, we knew Rob Atkinson would be out long term with his ACL & I do worry for Benarous as after his second ACL he seemingly cannot keep fit.
However beyond those 3 we do still seem to have more than our fair share of injuries & an answer of “just one of those things” isn’t sufficient.
The main criticism I would level, is that it was obvious that Naismith, Williams and James would all miss games through injury throughout the season, probably more than 30 between them. Not taking this into account, or ignoring it if was taken into account, was clearly a mistake, particularly given we’ve reached a point where they are all injured at the same time.

Players giving 100%. Shame about the goal, Max should have come for it imo.
Young lad doing ok, not getting pulled out of position.

Just listened to a bit of “Having a Gas”. The really do live in a parallel universe.

I for one am disappointed. I thought with Rat Face Joey in charge, there was every chance the gas would get out of league 1 this season.

That’s what happens when you play championship style football in league 1. It’s just not fair.

In the Lansdowns I don’t

I’m not sure any of us can be completely confident what’s going on.
But one thing we can say for sure is the “hierarchy’s” complete lack of communication is allowing us to fill in the silence ourselves with rumours and conjecture.
Which doesn’t breed confidence in their ability to run an organisation very well…
Nature abhors a vacuum.

Have to explain themselves to the club’s supporters?
Perish the thought.

Dave,
please try to get across the level of anger there will be if Nige’s contract is not renewed.
I for one, after over 50 years of loyal support, will walk if Nige is not the manager at the start of next season.

Will watch the glass conference in full tomorrow but is this therefore the case that..
Tanner- Out
McCrorie- Out
Vyner- Out
Atkinson- Out
Benarous- Out
Wells- Out
Doesn't sound too promising with Naismith and Knight either?? Ill or carrying an injury doesn't always mean out does it.
Nige said Naismith has had a calf problem but trained today (Thursday) They’re waiting overnight to see if there’s a reaction. Given the amount of games he missed last season and the start of this (was it a calf problem preseason?) Im not overly optimistic. If he doesn’t make it I assume Cam Pring will play LCB and Roberts at LB.

Nahki out
Tanner out
Knight ill
Naismith carrying an injury
Zak out for at least two more weeks
Tommy a likely starter.

France now 4-1 up. Only a friendly, but any humiliation of Scotland doesn’t go amiss.
