South Stand. Still waiting for the football reason. Although a couple have mentioned they are happy with the football due to the cards Pearson has been dealt. I disagree but that's fine. I thought people were upset due to the football... my bad.
-
Two of the games you mention we lost. You forgot 3 minutes against Coventry where we played well. Deary me.
-
Just one football reason? Anyone? I find it really amusing when I ask this how many insults start flying. It's because the Pearson Fanboys realise the football really is awful.
-
And still not one football reason. Always the way with the Pearson Fanboys.
-
Aw bless. Just one reason then, why this is a bad footballing decision? Is it the scintillating football? The results? The style of play? The yes men, old crocks? Everyone, and I mean everyone, who sat around me, didn't like pearson's football. You?

So,so happy about this. Like, I expect, the majority of City fans. We could now appoint a fantastic manager, or a crap one. Probably the latter. But it won't be Pearson, so that's good.

Did one of them have a pack of crayons? This would completely change the dynamic of this.

What is everyone's manager choice if/when Nige leaves?
Chivs replied to MrRedRobin's topic in Football Chat
Andy King. It's the turn for an internal, totally untested new man. -

Has John Eustace won as many league games this season at Ashton Gate as Nigel Pearson? #JustAsking And hoping....
-
OK. I'll make it easy for you. Give me one idea why you like "Nige"?
-
Who's in the minority?
-
A new manager. No idea why people like "Nige" so much.

I agree apart from Millwall. Nasty maybe but not angry. I think the anger comes from those who have known greatness but lost it. For that reason, I'd add Notts Forest (that really winds them up). And, in a couple of years, Manchester Red.

Plymouth Argyle at home match thread
Chivs replied to Jerseybean's topic in The Havanatopia Match Day Archive
Whilst this was a great result and, on the whole, a good display, we did manage to give Plymouth plenty of chances. The usual suspects, Naismith, Vyner and O'Leary gave the ball directly to an opposing player in a dangerous position. Some great tackling, and some poor Plymouth finishing disguised this. Do the same against Leicester and Vardy is going home with the ball under his shirt. -
This sounds awful. C-level people don't just take on another C- level job. Also, CFOs don't know how businesses work. They understand numbers. Period. I give you Steve Lansdown as an example. Imagine making these decisions!!

I imagine the new owners will look at Jon's experience, talent and aptitude for the job, and the way forward will become very apparent...

Is this not a chance for a brand new song for Tuesday night? In recognition of Alexander's achievements? I was thinking of 4.33' but I'm not sure everyone would join in. Therefore, how about: "Alexander, Alexander, He's not great, But nor is he a mate, (South Stand) Of Jon's, (Lansdown Stand) Of Jon's, (Dolman Stand) Of Jon's, So he's left Ashton Gate."

I liked it out of respect for your request. Didn't read it if that helps put a green box into context... ?

DISPLAY FOR BIRMINGHAM (H) - S25, S26 & S27 - PLEASE READ/SHARE
Chivs replied to James's topic in Football Chat
I'm in the South Stand further along. Please could I ask all in S25, S26 and S27 to turn precisely 90º to your left on the stroke of 14:57. Thanks. -
I've always thought of Steve as a 2-bit capitalist grubbing for a few pounds extra in saved taxes by residing on a remote, far away, piece of land the size of Weston. Turns out he was scouting for us! Nice work. Steve!

It was Cardiff. So I think we can all agree that the Cardiff player ducked his head into the boot of the on-coming player thus causing harm to a player's safety (admittedly his own). Clear red for Cardiff player.

+I waved my phone at the turnstile and got in immediately. I thought there would be an 0.5hr queue in the driving rain + Good debut by Dickie - It was the coldest since the Millwall game in the great winter of 1946. OK, I might exaggerate a bit but for August!? - Pearson is still with us - All those dinky balls over their fullbacks that achieve nothing with our players - Pearson - Yet another slow, unexceptional midfielder onboard - Pearson is still with us
