Well with @Fordy62 I assumed he was trying to denigrate LJ. But with, as you put it, his two dreadful runs, did we not win at home for this many games? Or indeed with any other manager in the history of the club?

I've wanted "Nige" sacked for a long time now. It amazes me how people keep finding positives to praise Nige despite all the evidence. (But of course Covid, no money blah blah blah) But the highlighted bit interests me. Who have we backed "to the hilt" recently? Who has had 16, 17 (I forget to be honest) home games without a win who we have backed? (But Covid, no money, awful squad blah blah blah)

I think exactly this. They cannot award promotion and relegation based on current standings. Imagine the legal cases by teams relegated! Bit annoying as it means Villa get another year of PL funding.

I don't mean this in a nasty way but you were comfortably the worse team I've seen at AG this season. You seemed to be really lightweight up front and, what amazed me most, was that even at 2-0 down in the last 10 minutes there was no especial urgency from your team to attack us. Very strange tactics. You will of course finish mid table (ish) so nothing much to worry about.

All I can see from that map is that the Southern Welsh come from dementia. And you seem to be suggesting that the Scots come from the irony age. Irrespective, God might come from Yorkshire but when He goes on holiday he goes to Somerset. A magnificent 2-0 win for us.

Watch the highlights on Sky and you can see that Derby clearly are firing on all cylinders. They absolutely murdered Ipswich. 61% possession, 23 shots to 5, 4 corners to none. And Ipswich won with a bad mistake by the Derby keeper with 1 of their 2 shots on target. Derby will be a really tough game on Saturday.

Hmmm, I might be a little miffed if I was a Burton fan. Abraham certainly seemed to be using a lot of physical pressure on their defender for the winner. It's the sort of tackle that you feel a big team always gets the decision and the minnow (usually us) gets done over. We need Matthews back and fit. All of Burton's attacks came down their left. Probably deliberately.
