  1. Don't worry just ignore it. Every new user on here who isn't wholly negative is called a BS employee. Unfortunately this place resembles the paranoia of gaschat when they accuse everyone of being a city fan.
  2. We are such a frustrating team. QPR are poor and we've more than matched that crap level.
  3. Think this is the issue. I see this not only when we score. We also struggle to cope initially after the restart from half time. I sort of dread that 5/10 minutes post goal or half time.
  4. Yeah fair. I guess as others have discussed it's whether you'd want pace and power vs technique and control in the final third. I think I could see both playing in either position and compliment each other fine.
  5. I'm really looking forward to seeing how we get on tomorrow. It's a different challenge and this will change how we set up. We need to be on it regardless. It's probably the first game I'm actually stumped on what my line up would be i.e First with the return of Twine and Sykes, Cornick having positive impacts recently, Mehmeti showing more what he can do, Bell ect. Even the Tanner/McCrorie competition. Midfield has plenty of options I'd be more than happy with. I even want to see more of Dire too. I'd say its only the centre backs that are guaranteed and that's not a bad thing. I know after a couple of wins things always look better but credit where credits due I really like the look of the squad right now and I think we've recruited really and I think there is much more to come. Hopefully we can kick on tomorrow and put in a good performance to build on and get some consistency.
  6. Can't believe the negative comments about attitude because a professional footballer wants to go play games and doesn't just want to wait for city to provide those games. He clearly saw the form Prings been in and after missing time with injury wanted to play in anyway possible. Seems like a driven player and that's exactly what we need at this club. Just because he didn't say the typical 'loved every minute of it here so far' and all the typical footballer responses doesn't mean he doesn't care. I actually prefer his honesty it's quite refreshing. I remember watching clips before he joined and could see the quality he has. Was really optimistic on his progress this season. I'm happy he's getting his chance to shine. It will be a difficult time with Prings return. Perhaps as others have said maybe Roberts LB and Pring LM would be a good option in a 442 for some games.
  7. Come off it now. It's not that bad. Posters say more petty stuff on here daily. He's had about 20 replies where he's been called a ****, bell end ect and even calling for a ban! Many of those replies haven't even contributed to what the OP has said i.e credit to Manning. Let's move past this now.
  8. Seagull has taken out the electricity pylon.
  9. Massive credit to the players to stick to the game plan and carry it out. Manning set out that plan and it beat a team that hasn't lost since September. A huge amount of credit should be going his way for this result.
  10. Depends on how severe it is. Weeks or months. However, even if it is a strain I think due to the amount of injuries he's had I'd be surprised he makes any first team minutes this season.
  11. Would make sense for him to get an issue with his hamstring. Especially after his ACL. Hopefully he can get past this eventually.
  12. I do get that. Just can't really remember a time we have had this availability. Will be strange leaving senior players out of the match day squad. At our worst this season we had a bench with two GKs Thomas and Bajic, Nelson, Joseph James, Idehen, Knight-Lebel, Backwell and Yeboah.
  13. Going to be real strength in depth soon with the return of Twine, Atkinson, Sykes and Naismith. The only potential spot available on the subs bench is Knight-Lebels who can return to the 21s.
  14. Most other teams I would completely agree but we've got to make the lack of possession work for us in my opinion. They are so strong down the wings and if we keep a back 4 we may score but I just think they'll score 3 or 4.
  15. They've not lost since September. We will be parked in our half for most of the game. Can see us going to a back 3/5. Think we need as many big lads as possible to play for set pieces. Shame we don't have Atkinson and Twine fit. Wouldn't mind seeing Cornick in the team to set up for a counter.
  16. Idiot, those lot were doing it before and for free!
  17. We'll see if you do. I'm not convinced. Also why would they have they have a recap of a season that is mid way through?
  18. Haha that old chestnut.. you must work for BS. You really do have a repeat switch. Sorry I forgot your working hard constantly on here to hold the club to account aren't you? You don't attend fan meetings, you don't vote with your feet but your posting on here. How's that going? Can you be more specific on what information you are lacking currently from the club asides from half time tactics?
  19. Exactly were both speculating. Silly aint it.
  20. Glad to have input from an actual Championship manager like you to clarify for me.
  21. I'm suggesting people moan a huge amount on social media or on here. Even say they won't be renewing season tickets ect but ironically our footfall seems to increase regardless. Seems like people aren't voting with their feet and supposedly holding the hierarchy to account.
  22. Yes it's clearly been a huge issue: https://www.footballwebpages.co.uk/bristol-city/attendances
  23. Yes we're speculating on a fan forum that's what it was set up for. You don't need clarity, you want clarity as a fan. Like I said it's a modern day fans need for information to the nth degree. Thankfully he's not providing all details of why we did x or y in the last game because there is a strong likelihood we may need to do it again. Regardless of analysts they won't know everything and things need to be hidden. If not we might aswell post the line up, formation, planned subs 24 hours before.
  24. I think your just showing the over expectations of a modern day fan. Does he really need to explain his tactics in full detail post match? Perhaps he'd prefer to keep that to himself. It might be in our interests not to share everything with our next potential opponents. Especially considering we have Southampton in a very quick turnaround i.e same context as Middlesbrough. We won't have much time to recover, we won't have the lions share of possession.
  25. Yeah I'm not saying there wasn't an element of luck for the goal specifically but as a whole when pressure is applied for a long period it's more likely one will end going in whether deflected or not. That being said the players defended very well second half especially given the context of the schedule they've played already.
