Look up the word ‘possibly’ mate. And then calm down.
Its also possible hes carrying a slight injury, its also possible its a tactical decision.. ect ect. Don't see the point of even mentioning it but don't worry I'm calm.

We now can guess the players that Pearson wants out
Palmer, Wells, Dasilva
Possibly Massengo
Your leaps in imagination are incredible. Massengo is definitely wanted by Nigel. Could be a 100 reasons he's on the bench.

Glad he's back of course but I hope this hasn't been expedited to squash conspiries regarding his health or return date. Just hope he's well which is the main thing.

Maybe treading on forbidden lawns here, but is Bentley part of the problem rather than the solution?
Why do you think that?

Just a sort of pointless observation really. We're crap and we know that all too well currently.

Geoff is great at asking the right questions regardless of how awkward they may be.
I think Gould said all he could say in his position. Nige is staying but currently off poorly until he's 100%, hopes results turn around with Fleming deputising in the meantime. Wasn't fully convincing with the way he said it but I guess he had to be selective with his words because ultimately football is results driven and if we lose 5 more in a row Nigel would be gone either way. Fair play to Gould for fronting up on the radio at the worst time so far.

Difficult question to answer. i would imagine nige has a long list of people he could bring in. Graig Shakespeare would be good but getting him out of Villa will be big ask. what do you think will happen.
That definitely ain't gonna happen. Why would he?

Dicker was actually sent off playing for Brighton U21s in the EFL Trophy the other week!
Do as I say, not as I do springs to mind.

I'll have to admit I had never heard of this never mind the extent of football players using it..
Guess its like chewing tobacco but little teabags of the stuff?

I don't really dislike him, a/ because that goal where he flicked the ball to spin in the air then smashed the volley top bag was one of the best I've seen live, and b/ I was shocked and delighted when we got a lot of our money back by selling him which I thought was very unlikely.
I feel exactly the same. That goal was outrageous and probably the best I have seen live but I was very happy we recouped the money for him when we did especially to Cardiff who thought they'd bagged a bargain at the time.

Does anyone know the latest with Robbie Cundy? Feel may we need him as back up down the stretch especially if we continue with three at the back.
-
Thought he was very steady on his debut. Better improvement on Vyner and Simpson in my eyes.

This sort of post is very premature. I wasn't automatically bought into Nigel Pearson like some on here. I think some would suck the fart out of his behind if given half the chance.
He will be judged on results for me but he's definitely made small improvements on last seasons dire performances. You can tell the players are up for it more. We've just lacked that little bit of quality and rub of the green.
He needs proper time before we make judgements like this.

I disagree. If it was us I’d be calling for us to hold our hands up.
Fair enough, I just think you'd be in the minority by holding your hands up.

They clearly have broken the rules and because of sluggish bureaucracy and EFL incompetence they won't be relegated in time in my opinion. There is a collective denial from Derby fans because of the tribal nature of football. It this was our club it would be the same with the personal connection with our club and the bias that comes with that so I don't blame them.

I really don't like that, its ok to go on other forums to have a reasoned debate or offer thoughts (personally I don't) but to go on and embarrass us as a fan base really annoys me
Agreed its cringe. Just seems anywhere that LJ is employed as a coach brings a stream of past club supporters to his new endeavours (such as that weird Barnsley fan) who pops on here from time to time to say how great they are. Its just weird someone is posting how great NP is to Sunderland supporters and rightly so they are picking it to pieces.
-
Just went on the Sunderland forum to have a look. Who's the poster named as 'Bristol City'? Embarrassing posting topics to say Pearson signed on with us and rightly so their fans are like who the **** cares.

Garner may not be Manager material but he had a good CV as a coach before going to the Gas, Tisdale has had a reasonable record in the liwer leagues.
In both cases it seems unlikely that they wouldn't know how to organise decent training sessions, also Barton is talking as if they are career coaches who don't know what it's like to be a player which is definitely not the case when it comes to Tisdale.
I think Barton thinks he's too clever than he is by virtue signalling to the gas fans in preparation for their likely impending relegation. Sort of an insurance to keep the faith with him for next year. Instead he's created more chaos and potential legal issues whilst putting down two sacked managers.

Going to have to get some new clap celebrations on point.
Then again I've seen us struggle with the Icelandic clap with a full capacity

If this violence is anything to do with football. What a stupid embarrassment from both sides.
Grown men fighting over a football club has always cringed me out.

Stoke clearly dominated possession and had big chances and will be aggrieved they didn't pick up points but stats don't nessarily reflect grit/guts and luck which is a huge factor in sports.
I take it we deserved to win based on determination and ultimately putting the ball in the net but Stoke also deserved to win if they had been more clinical. We rode our luck but we showed character so I'm loving it!
