  1. Especially when Wilder realises they are crap?
  2. I think the £680k incoming from Peterborough will help and if we are close I would 100% be looking to offload Massengo in January.
  3. Couldn’t agree more. Despite a poor run and a dreadful display today we do have goals in us and will get enough results imo to steer clear of the bottom places. We can’t afford to replace managers and staff, Steve can but the FFP position of the club can’t, simple as that. We need Nige to steer us through the absolute shambles created by the transfer and spend policy of others and when the finances are better if Nige can’t move us forward from there you start looking at alternatives when you can afford them.
  4. We are pretty much “just” the right side of FFP as I understand it so sacking Nige and paying him up plus his staff then bringing in Wilder on a nice contract and his staff……..you do the maths.
  5. If they didn’t get it after the last accounts they never will. You can’t explain FFP to people who won’t listen.
  6. I've picked a good time to take a week's holiday. Missing the next two..................and can't say I'm that gutted about it right now. Just got to hope we can somehow get 3-4 points.
  7. Not a single shot on target. That really is back to the bad old days............. The least they could do is apologise to those that travelled.
  8. Pretty much flapping at anything and everything that comes his way. There's a lot more to Goalkeeping than saving shots and he is the absolute definition of a shot stopper.
  9. James is unspectacular but he would be a massive improvement on what we've got in there on today's showing. At least he turns up most weeks doing what he does whether that is to your liking or not.
  10. One game where he ran the show in over a hundred? That's not bad. If he turned up four or five in ten I could understand some of the fuss around him.
  11. Gotta be honest and I've said it a number of times the sooner HNM finds a club that suits his style of play the better because that club ain't us. When is the kid going to score or even assist because he's had over 100 goes at it for us, certainly hasn't scored and has barely registered an assist. That isn't a midfield player for me.
  12. This is where Nige earns his money for me because putting in that 45 after 2K have paid their hard earned to come and watch you isn't acceptable.
  13. That's an understatement. 45 minutes, 2-0 down and not a single shot. It's just not good enough, doesn't matter who is injured, we aren't even competing.
  14. Bentley nowhere and Atkinson must have got a whole inch off the ground……….
  15. Agree that you can’t put Vyner in the middle against Deeney, he would struggle to cope with that challenge (as would Atkinson imo). Keep him on the right and let Klose deal with Deeney is about as good as we’ve got.
  16. So would I if I was judging it on King’s contribution in midfield on Tuesday. For me we had reasonable control of that area until King had to fill in for Beckenbauer.
  17. Add in the fact that with the squad he had he should have reached the target set comfortably, like Cotterill did, then you have the answer.
  18. Given how much further South they are than Exeter it must be a special version of skid row if you end up down there…….
  19. It was a shame that King had to go back to Centre Half because he showed more in midfield than both Massengo and Williams imo. I would imagine Nige’s thinking was he needed a communicator back there because Vyner and Atkinson can do their jobs but aren’t great communicators.
  20. If we had to play 8 of our first 9 away what part of the table do you think we would be in after everyone else has played 12 games?
  21. Whilst we are all disappointed I found Mark Robins post match comments interesting. Basically said without being as direct “they were shit last season but Pearson has turned them into a good side”. Teams are countering our threat rather than just turning up and expecting to roller us. Obviously we have to find a way of countering that but it’s not all doom and gloom to be fair.
  22. 45 crosses and I would bet the house that Martin gets on the end of at least 2-3 of them. Like I said previously had he been on the pitch when Vyner put in a peach of a delivery he wins us the game. If the opposition tactic is to let you have it out wide and put in that many crosses then you need Martin and Conway up front, our two best attackers of crosses.
  23. Coventry aren’t as bad as people make out. Bottom yes but played ONE home game and the least games in the division. Not a bottom of the table side imo.
