Apparently the Oxford vaccine takes six weeks from the first "half" jab to work as long as you have the full jab a month after the first one (so a further two weeks after the second jab). So for the vast majority of people that will be between March and May before you are actually covered by the vaccine. From a football perspective it seems obvious that we are looking at next season earliest before the Government allows crowds back in fullish numbers. ........and that's assuming there is a high take-up on the vaccine which is not as guaranteed as some might think!!

Credit where it’s due, a sensible and realistic appointment by Wael. I’m still astonished that people think Paul Cook would have entertained the thought of going there for more than a quarter of a second. When you read the statement and see what the bloke has introduced into the club (basic stuff such as recruitment, nutrition, medical, analysis etc.) it shows what an absolute shower that club was only a year ago......yet the Fewers lap it up as progress rather than questioning why it wasn’t there and had to be “introduced” in the first place. Off the field it seems they hadn’t left the National League.

It can be done on a budget but think of the squad Cotterill assembled to get us up, the cost, the wages etc. then ask where the money is coming from for that based on Rovers FFP limit.......
