The fact they are getting a thread on here every time they play, national coverage, being all over social media and has half of football swooning over there is getting annoying already. It's not an underdog story, it's rich owners buying their way out of non league. I actually like RM and RR, they seem like good guys doing stuff for the wider community in Wrexham but I'm already sick of it.

I hate that PL clubs (lower table ones at that) have the financial clout to hoover up any half decent talent in the Championship and just let them sit on their benches game after game. There's an argument that the player could be more wise to their position but when the bright lights and ££ come calling I guess it's hard to turn down. How many clubs have their bets talent poached when it could be the difference between them pushing on for some time in the Prem of their own or languishing mid table

The PL blurb says its a collective agreement to begin at the start of the 2025/26 season.
Any chance of players names and numbers on the front and advertising on the back?
Not sure how many clubs would be affected if extended to the Championship. We'd be OK but it would give Stoke an interesting dilemma with the Coates family owning Bet365.
Would be a bit hypocritical in the Sky Bet Championship

You’d back him to break into that Liverpool team after a couple of seasons as they definitely need a freshening up. Not sure if I see them taking another youngster though, they have Carvalho, Bajetic and Elliot who are all playing in midfield.
They really should though, as I think he would bring something different.
Sounds like they've been priced out of Bellingham so maybe they are willing to buy a first teamer (someone like Maddison?) and then take a punt on our Alex as the next big thing

If it was a one off mistake it wouldn't be an issue, it would get laughed off (Pete Borough anyone?!) but there is a mistake very single game, some very noticeable, very obvious and I think people are just fed up.
Give me an announcer who announces subs and goals correctly in a simple manner over someone trying to whip the crowd up any day. This simply isn't required at a football match. Nobody comes home and goes 'you know what? That match day announcer really got me hyped up before the game' -
Thought James and King were superb yesterday. Controlled the midfield and won the ball back repeatedly

It's genuinely an awful spot to drive and park at. Maybe they are relying on people using Bristols fantastic train infrastructure

Ironic in their video part of the commentary mentions how important it was they were moving to the Mem in 'Rovers heartland', yet are looking to move into Bris/Totterdown

So basically we have 6 weeks to decide what bit of surplus stock we 'want' or which prize draw to enter alongside everyone else who hasn't used their points for Greg Cunninghams third shirt someone found in a cupboard.

I wonder if there's more money for us in a clause of Brighton qualifying for Europe?

Card happy ref in a game with little bite to it. Made a rod for his own back booking one of theirs after 3 mins
The less said about that offside the better

Just had a look. Absolute pile of shite. Who wants a ******* lanyard?
Though I guess someone must as they’ve “sold out” What will they find in the bins next?
Coming soon a half eaten apple as chewed by Curtis Fleming.
So far it's come across as a way for City to get rid of their trash. Lanyards they don't want and presumably over ordered, leftover kit from the previous supplier, it's not the top end rewards scheme they bigged it up to be is it

The Olympic Stadium in Berlin is a great ground with loads of history, and Berlin itself is also a great weekend

Wonder if they come with the printed badge or an embroidered version like we will eventually get

I know that’s not going to be popular with us fans, but from the club’s perspective it’s got to be a big plus, hasn’t it? They’re not supposed to be transferable, so it’s not like we’re being prevented from doing something we’d otherwise be able to (legitimately) do.
It's a shame because when I've brought friends (who 100% wouldn't otherwise go) then they always spend money on food and drink. One person who used to come with me on the odd occasion he got a freebie eventually got his own season ticket.
But, we are making assumptions at this point. It might just be a QR you can send over

Cynical of me but I wonder if the new digital tickets make them non transferable so if you miss a game you can't let a friend use your card

City should really do retro shirts like England do. There are certainly a few I would buy. 89 home and away as well as 90 home and away.
Give it a while and we will no doubt remake it into the next seasons shirt.
I wonder how they they spin some though:
'Next years kit is based on the much beloved champagne kit from the Gary Johnson era. Playfully dubbed the 'korma' or 'puke' shirt by City fans it was worn by City legends such as Bas Savage, Matt Haywood and Grant Smith.'

I'm sure it was 1st used in the season before the new badge was released? I'm sure it was either on some letters or on season tickets? Something like that.
There was another (!) Robin used on the season tickets. Kind of a side on landing view
Kind of like this. But without the other bird being attacked

Given we are ages away from next season and this being in the club shop, I can see a climb down on this and the pigeon being replaced with the club badge. Doesnt make the rest of the shirt any better in my opinion but would appease quite a few.
Also, if we need a third shirt I'm expecting a white or black away kit

Or O'Neills made the shirt exactly to the club's specification?
I'm not sure which scenario is more concerning.
Following the administration of hummel’s UK licensee – Elite Sports Group - the club has acted swiftly and with great consideration to find a kit partner that provides a smooth supply chain, allows for continued collaboration on innovative kit design and aligns with the values of Bristol City.
Lets JL design the kits I reckon

I could understand if they wanted to trial just using the Robin on its own with no surround (I mean the actual one in the middle of the badge we redesigned without consultation 5 years ago that was supposed to be able to be used everywhere) but why just paste that new weird crap Robin there now?
-
Christ that's awful. More lazy designing, let's remake another old shirt. That badge is shocking, and the quality again looks terrible.
Can we let kit manufacturers actually design the shirt instead of our chairman?
