The clubs been reluctant to sell off large amounts of kit at the end of the season for a long time now. I remember the days when you could pick up a shirt in April for £15. There’s obviously a balance to be found in order to not have loads left over to sell, but ordering enough to get to at least February. If there’s no Christmas stock then that’s a big fail on the clubs part

Steve is essentially at least culpable for allowing the finances to get to the point where we are so tight to FFP limits that we can’t go out and sign anyone without selling. I say that because someone gave LJ and MA permission to go sign and load of expensive players on high wages who haven’t provided the expected return on the investment. A gamble that has backfired. On the flip side Steve deserves credit for us going from a team stuck in League One with crowds of 12k in a stadium on its last legs, to being an established Championship side (for now!) with an average crowd of 18k in a modern stadium and a top end training facility.

Personally I wouldn’t get rid of Pearson, he’s kept us up on free transfers and youth team players. It’s the same old discussion and it won’t go away: is he/the team performing better or worse considering what he’s had to work with? The fan base is understandably split. I’d argue at the moment it’s probably performing as expected. Inconsistent. When our key players are firing we look good, when they aren’t we look dreadful. My biggest bugbear though is that we have never looked solid at the back (regardless of who we have played at any one time) and that’s something that’s up to the manager to resolve. What he can’t be held accountable for however is individual errors and these at the moment are rife. I’d love to know what happened during that first international break. We were scoring at will and looked so dangerous in attack. Then all of a sudden….meh.

I think it’s an indoor arena where the basketball team will play. I feel like it’ll be more in use for concerts, events, roadshows etc etc. Its been pitched as the Flyers stadium to keep it appear to be in the Bristol Sport complex. If the Flyers fill it up every week then great!

Pleased for Bailey Wright. Didn’t he miss out right at the final cut quite surprisingly for Russia 2018? A genuinely nice guy and one of those players you can’t accuse of not giving it all when he played for us.

I’m sure your defenders are taught to listen to a shout from the keeper too. We are playing for the win and the keeper having to ball in hand to distribute quickly is a far better position.

Or Kalas listens to the shout from the keeper, Max catches it and we have possession? I don’t understand how Max gets the blame. Yes it’s a long way to come but there isn’t a Millwall player even attempting to challenge him for the ball?! Therefore it’s a perfectly acceptable decision to come and collect, and he makes the call to make everyone is aware he’s doing so. Kalas is 100% to blame for that goal not Max.
