  1. Absolute madness. So I can go to the pub. Have a few beer with my mates. Then go to the cinema, indoors, and watch the football with another couple of beers, assuming plenty of shouting when goals go in, but I can’t go watch it in a stadium, outside, with even 1000 other people in a 26000 seater stadium. But I bet you if some of Boris’ rich mates owned football clubs we’d all be back there by now
  2. It’s ridiculous there has to be some way now to get a small % of people into stadiums. I’m sure clubs don’t care if it’s 500 people at this point, that’s 500 refunds they don’t have to give. Be as militant as you like about the rules, masks during games, 5 seats between people, allocated entry/exit points, but start drip feeding people in. If I can go to a pub, cinema, restaurant indoors with 2m distancing then football should be less of a risk.
  3. If it’s a condition of attendance then I’d wear a mask for 90 mins, I’ll get used to it. It’s not the 12 hour shifts that NHS workers have been wearing them for.
  4. I think everyone wants to watch every game. Nobody is of the opinion they are going to get that at the moment. That doesn’t mean the club can’t make a fair decision and communicate it quickly, unlike the situation recently where we were the one of, if not the last clubs in the Championship to communicate to fans. And even the communication was ‘missing the love’ as JL said himself.
  5. I think there will be enough demand for tickets that if anyone can’t go their ticket will be able to be sold back to the club to be subsequently sold on. It’s a bit of a different situation to the end of this season where nobody could go and the club would lose out on money. I mean that’s the most sensible option, whether the club will go for that....
  6. He might end up sat in the Atyeo. Not everyone’s gonna be where they want to sit
  7. I think rotation is the fairest way as well if we are on that kind of figure.
  8. So with the government saying that they would be looking to open up stadiums to around a third of capacity from October, that’s roughly 8,600 allowed into AG. There are likely going to be other rules around concourse size and family groups being allowed to sit together but on a basic level that’s what we are going to have to work with. I wonder if the amount of season tickets sold pre lockdown means we can accommodate all current season ticket applicants/holders, with some sort of buy back scheme for those who can’t attend/ don’t want to attend certain games? Or if we have already sold into double figures and someone is going to miss out. Lots of thinking for the club on this one. Let’s hope they make the right decisions with a nice early (well thought out) decision/communication.
  9. I genuinely don’t know what to reply that accurately conveys the disgust I have for Cardiff City at the moment. ‘Once a bluebird...’ yeh right until we can weasel out of paying for the lad. *apologies for associating innocent weasels with Cardiff.
  10. Had a few quid on Stewart. Cheap option. Good odds
  11. I shall be raising a glass at 4.46 to celebrate the gap being legally able to drink. Might post it on social media just to annoy a few of them lot
  12. So are the club giving a free pint to everyone then to celebrate ‘gappy’ turning legal age? ?
