  1. Didn't think it was that bad. Basically a full strength la rochelle side against a not so strong bristol side and we lost 5 tries to 4. Obviously there were some very poor mistakes and stuff to work on but the scoreline didn't reflect the match imo
  2. Good to see they listened to my advice haha Great win, brilliant defence and some great handling. Puts us in a very good place that
  3. Got to win this now, controversial red for Leicester and an 11 point lead puts us in control. If we want to stay up this is a must win half, by a bonus point as well
  4. The worst thing they could do now is get rid of DC imo. He's the only league one quality thing they have at the club currently, and of they were to get rid they'd have basically no money to get a replacement and so they'd spiral even further downward... So actually, maybe it is best if he leaves...
  5. They still have everything to fight for, we were already relegated and playing appallingly, yet we still took more...
  6. We took 699 to Charlton on a Saturday back in 2013, when we were already relegated and playing absolutely dire football under O’Driscoll. Bar that, I can’t remember any other time...
  7. So we took more to Leeds, 9 hour round trip at 40 quid a ticket, than they did to Charlton, 5 hour round trip at 20 quid a ticket Their support is envied by all though...
  8. Teams up for tomorrow Scarily we will be favourites looking at the respective strengths of the two sides and unlike last week we have a bench that I reckon will make a difference when coming on. That’s the strongest 23 I’ve seen in my 6 years supporting Bristol and I’ll be glued to every moment of it whilst waiting in trepidation at elland road tomorrow! Come on Bris!
  9. The sags have held out the mighty Barnet this half then, wonder whether their 1 in 50 striker will find the net after half time
  10. And the referee ensures bristol don't win, gives exeter an 85th minute penalty try to win... No chance he was letting us get a win from that game
  11. Bristol currently 19-12 up at ht v exeter....
  12. Although we went and beat Swansea the weekend after, they've gone on to continue losing...
  13. They currently have a poll up on their forum for who they think is their best striker. Leading it, with 79% of the vote, is Tom Nicholls, the same guy who has 1 goal in 53 games for them. If it was any other club in the country he'd have been hounded out with that record, but because he runs around a lot and won a penalty last week they all love him...
  14. And now they are laughing at us for selling 130 for Ipswich (with a week to go). I'd love to see how many they would take for an 8 hour round trip on a Wednesday night on sky.... http://gaschat.co.uk/thread/13255/tewnty-on-city-preston-game?page=6 This is coming from the same club who took 300 for a shorter journey on a Saturday...
  15. Good win v a full strength wasps side. Disappointing in some ways as we left 20 points on the pitch due to lack of precision. Do that v exeter and it will cost us
  16. Team up for Sunday 15. Charles Piutau; 14. Luke Morahan, 13. Piers O’Conor, 12. Will Hurrell, 11. Ryan Edwards; 10. Callum Sheedy (co-capt), 9. Andy Uren; 1. Yann Thomas, 2. Shaun Malton, 3. John Afoa, 4. Ed Holmes, 5. Aly Muldowney, 6. Steve Luatua (co-capt), 7. Dan Thomas, 8. Jordan Crane. Replacements: 16. Nick Fenton-Wells, 17. Jake Woolmore, 18. Lewis Thiede, 19. Joe Joyce, 20. George Smith, 21. Harry Randall, 22. Tiff Eden, 23. Sam Bedlow. Interesting to see us going so strong for a cup game, here's hoping there aren't any injury's to key players. It's on BT Sport at 3pm on Sunday if anyone is interested
  17. They are currently jizzing themselves over there because a player (lockyer) has been called up for Wales. However the FAW obviously realise there is only 1 team in Bristol... http://www.faw.cymru/en/news/wales-squad-announced-nations-league-crunch-match-denmark/
  18. All of a sudden they are all business experts over there, according to them we are going to be bankrupt in 4 years as SL has no business sense. Think I'm losing brain cells reading it...
  19. 10k there, not bad for a basically reserve game where st holders have to pay... Thought we were excellent with our set pieces tonight, scrum destroyed Gloucester but lack of imagination is our backs cost us the bonus point
  20. Yep rugby has changed a lot, the money in the game now is massive compared to even 5 years ago. It won't be long before the wage cap is scrapped I fear, then it will turn into football...
  21. They are now trying to claim we are on the verge on bankruptcy, and it's like 82 all over again, because of a 24 million loss (which doesn't include the 28 million we got from player sale over the summer...)
  22. Gloucester in the Cup tonight. Piutau back on the bench so hopefully he gets through injury free... Going to be interesting against a strong gloucester side with a decent bit of experience
