  1. Both Jack Lam and Piatau have signed on for the next couple of years, great news for Bristol two players who are definitely premiership quality and will help us to go up next year
  2. I try and get down a bit so it's good to see them doing well. It was funny the one guy standing by us trying to start off chants about every single one of the players, seemed like a right character haha. I might try and go down on Tuesday, should be a decent game, then theres last game of the season which is on the same day as Brighton I think which is a shame. If they go up it will be the highest they've ever been which is a great achievement and they'll be up against the likes of Taunton and Yate which will be great for them
  3. Nah I'm talking about Bristol's 2nd team, not some squatters down the road.... ;-)
  4. went down there today, quite a few city fans there as well, was a cracking win
  5. So is the 4200 the amount locked outside then?
  6. 4200, I swear you were going to be taking 3900 yesterday....
  7. You are 3rd in the league behind the mighty AFC Wimbledon and Northampton, don't quite see how that is an achievement....
  8. Geraghty was just till the end of the season, i can see pisi leaving as well don't think he's lams type of player, that would leave madigan searle and sheedy as our 10s which isn't too bad.... A back line of: R.Williams Madigan Varndell Piatau Hurrel Morahan Woodward Will look half decent at home to Ealing Trailfinders....
  9. So if you didn't have Taylor and his 60 something goals you'd still be in the position you're in.....
  10. I can't see why there would be no relegation if they've just announced automatic promotion into the premiership with no play offs, and i can't see teams such as Yorkshire Carnegie or bedford wanting to come up either
  11. http://www.bristolrugby.co.uk/news/ian-madigan-signs-three-year-deal-at-bristol-rugby/ Been confirmed Hopefully we can put Gav into a coaching role next season and maybe as a back up in case of injury then have madigan as first choice with searle as our number 2, we really need a good goal kicker who can play week in week out and hopefully a season in the championship will allow madigan and luatua to gel with the others so we are ready for the premiership
  12. shows how much of an influence Pat Lam is going to be, money probably had something to do with it as well....
  13. I'm sure your buzzing for your cup finals next season, will be the biggest games in the last decade for you
  14. Having just beaten Oxford away 2-0 you come straight onto our forum to post, obsessed doesn't even cover it....
  15. Good to see Varndell back starting for Sunday, looks like Bristol's strongest possible team, i reckon gav could make the difference if he doesn't get injured.
  16. I reckon looking at the teams Bristol have a very good chance of winning this one, the backs bris have put out are too good to be in a relegation fight and i can see them winning. With regards to the tickets, Sarries are overjoyed at getting over 10k for their game this weekend so that puts things into perspective, i doubt you'll find many other bottom clubs getting 14k plus week in week out
  17. Bristol were appalling today apparently, so pleased I decided not to go. Pat Lam has a lot of work to do to get this group back to the Premiership and keep some of our decent players
  18. With the squad Bristol have and with Pat Lam at the helm they'll go straight up surely, especially with the lack quality in the league at the minute. If they can keep Wooward and Hurrell i struggle to see anyone coming near them tbf
  19. Signed Steven Luatua from Auckland Blues for next season, 25 year old with 15 caps for new zealand, hope he's looking forward to the championship....
  20. varndell scored a great try but went off injured, i reckon Bristol may win this with the bench
  21. down here now, they're expecting 15k plus apparently so it should be a good atmosphere and hopefully a good performance...
  22. Looking forward to Friday, Quins are awful away from home (worse than rotherham....) and are without Robshaw, Marler, Brown etc, with Woodward coming back bristol have a massive chance of picking up 4-5 points and with worcester playing sarries and sale playing an in form Newcastle it could be a massive weekend
  23. Did you watch us under O'Driscoll? Worst football we've played in years, went down without a whimper, then wwe were bottom of league one when he left, much worse than Johnson
