  1. Leko sounds like one hell of a player, it's taking 3 wolves players to get it off him
  2. We need cortes and tuohy to come back asap, the scrum has been a big problem in the first two games, the back 3 look excellent though, Luatua was outstanding Saturday
  3. Yeh but when was the last time we played the mighty Kidderminster Town or Alfreton?
  4. Great game in Cornwall, Pirates 29 -31 Bristol, Bristol were in control at half time but Pirates are now right back in it....
  5. As much as I like seeing young players do well Vyner was our weak link imo, but he was given very little support from patterson and o'dowda and they attacked down that side a lot to be fair to him, still has a bright future though
  6. They have some Gloucester youth players playing for them but they are a club in their own right, they had 4 ex Bristol players, none of whom are from Gloucester playing for them yesterday for instance
  7. A lot of Gloucester's younger players do go there but to say they are their B side is a bit harsh imo
  8. Harbury played excellently and on that basis could get top 4 but they have just been promoted from a part time league whereas Bristol have a wage bill of 6.5 million a year....
  9. Probably the most undeserved win I've seen in a rugby game for a while, Bristol were pathetic first half after the try and despite improving slightly in the 2nd there were still tonnes of errors that have to be ironed out if we want to win the league, hopefully it's because it's the first game of the season but improvements are definitely needed
  10. Absolutely awful first half, so many mistakes, no ideas, awful referee, really poor overall
  11. The season tickets are very reasonable when considering the quality of players on show, its 60 quid for me for the whole season which is great value imo
  12. Teams out: http://www.bristolrugby.co.uk/news/team-news-bristol-rugby-vs-hartpury/ 8 internationals including Madigan, Luatua and Morahan, when you consider the players that are out injured that team is brilliant, a bit harsh on Cullen and Edwards not to be playing but shows the strength in depth we have With regards to the ticket prices I think we should max it at 25 quid and make it affordable
  13. Apparently they are going to to take 4k to Wolves because the last time they played against Birmingham they took 5k (despite the BBC saying they took 2.3k #gaslogic...)
  14. Bristol lost 24-14 to Connacht yesterday, again we were right in it until the last 5 minutes but conceded late
  15. First half Bristol were excellent, Williams and Protheroe combined really well 2nd half Scarlets bought on their big players and Bristol struggled
  16. I guess we will have to agree to disagre but I don't think 27k is too big at all, Bristol averaged 13k last year despite being bottom for the whole season, if Lam can get us to the top 6 in the premiership we will average 20k easily imo
  17. He isn't doing the same thing though is he. Tan bought cardiff as a foreign owner, stuck a load of Malaysian flags around the stadium and gave them a red strip for luck, the fans complained and he changed it back after a season. Lansdown has taken over Bristol rugby and saved them from financial meltdown, without SL Bristol might not still be a professional rugby club, we were in ruins. He has set the team in a positive direction and bought in one of the best coaches in the world as well as some of the worlds best players, Bristol have moved into a 27k capacity stadium which means that they can now compete with the best and yes, he has put some red on the kit but in no way is that going against past generations, Bristol have always been blue and white hoops and we still are. There is no correlation between tan and lasndown
  18. Tan built a team that made the prem but he never built one that was going to stay there, lansdown has built a team that will be a solid prem team next year. And lansdown hasn't 'shit on generations of history' either...
  19. The difference between Tan and Lansdown is that Lansdown is securing Bristol for the future and building a team that will challenge at the top of rugby, however I do agree that the red shouldn't be on the home kit, Bristol have always been blue and white hoops, never red
  20. Really like the away shirt but i wish they would get rid of the red on the home kit
  21. We can't, especially now they are the 6th richest club in the world and have a new 20000 seater stadium at UWE coming soon Oh wait....
  22. Lets not forget also when they travel away and the thousands they take around the country, which far outweigh our away attendances (despite having a lower average every year...) and then the 50000 they took to wembley for the non league play off final and the thousands they have locked out of every home and away game...
  23. The same trashton gate where those '82er teds' play at, they are so witty and original...
