The best lunch burgers I've had were at Three Brothers near Queen Square. Last time I went with the app I believe they cost £4 for their lunch deal (Possibly changed after COVID). I've struggled to find better burgers for that price near the centre.

Does anyone use the Wiggle app? It's fantastic.

I've not been there since the pandemic started, but I agree they are great value. The £4 deal was amazing.

  2. Years ago I had a very bad experience after a kebab and haven't touched them since. Obvious it was the fault of the booze, but my brain still associates kebab with hours of puking.

I normally grab a burger & chips on my way home from a night out.

That is one of their biggest problems. Their fan base is getting older and it sounds like they struggle to attract new fans.

The cricket, basketball and rugby are probably more appealing to the youth than spending their money at the Mem.

    Spot on.

Imagine being a young kid nowadays, you see the large, brand new Premier League stadiums on TV. The amazing football skills. The tens of thousands of fans.

And then you get taken to the Mem. ?

Interesting. Thoughts. Didn't know this was a thing.

The social media boycott is aimed at platforms like Facebook and Twitter that either don't do anything about racist abuse or are very slow to act.

By closing down their forum, are they admitting that they have a lot of racist fans?

I remember when Sunderland got relegated from the championship, although it didn't look like it, they were down because of the remaining fixtures of the other sides. So are they properly down tonight or is it just mathematically unlikely they'll survive?

Best they can do is equal points with Wigan. It's only 7 goals so if they win every game and Wigan lose every game, they'd overtake them. Everyone else in the relegation spots would also have to lose.

    So possible.

But no real chance of that happening.

The Saggers and Swindle look out of it, got to gain a point a game on others to be safe and looking at both their runs in I doubt that’s doable.

    What a shame...

Yeah there's no way they are going to manage it.

I think Wimbledon are safe now and so they'll need to catch Wigan (and hope Northampton & Rochdale don't win!), which looks beyond any possibility.

Wigan's final games: Shrewsbury, Burton, Hull and Swindon

Gash's final games: MK Dons, Portsmouth, Crewe and Blackpool

Wigan will not be playing anybody that needs points, Hull will be up by then, Swindon will be down.

Whereas Portsmouth and Blackpool are both pushing for play off spots. The 15ers might get a shock win against one of them, but there's no way they'll beat both.
