Yes, I know.
Just a huge shame that for whatever reason he didn’t get vaccinated
He would have been but he had pneumonia.
RIP to him, 100 is a great age to reach.

Family with him in Hospital. Doesn’t sound very good.
Yeah, I heard that they only let family in to visit "in end of life situations".
Hopefully he pulls through.

I wonder what the fewers have been up to away from football?
-
Year unknown, but either mid/late 70s or early 80s.

Wow, it still looks more modern there than the Mem does now.

I won't load the question. What can we learn from the Gas, what can they learn from us?
We can learn that things can always be worse.
They can learn that things can always get better.

With Glastonbury being cancelled and the Bond movie being moved to October, it really shows just how much longer we are going to have to wait for any sort of normality to return.

Classic Rovers on Twitter today, I wonder how the ‘300 more were locked out’ figure was arrived at? Did they do a head count? Did they multiply the actual number by 10, then add 100, then round up to the nearest 100?
To be fair to them, they didn't say 300 were locked out of Woking's ground. It should read:
"And 300 more were locked out of their houses as their wives/sisters couldn't work out how to open the door"

Cavill does seem like an obvious established name to get it next.
Yeah he seems an obvious choice.
I think I'd rather they went with somebody more unknown though. Get somebody young and get them locked into a 5 or 6 movie deal so we don't have the Craig situation of every Bond movie being his last.

I don't think there will be a female Bond.
But if they did cast a woman then it'd have to be Thandie Newton, just to piss off the sexists and the racists.

The pandemic has been easy for Bristol Rovers. They've been practicing social distancing for decades.

It's really sad news but is also the correct decision. The site is too small and the animals need more space, but I have so many happy memories of the place that it'll always be sad that it's going.
It's so old as well. It opened in 1836, 1 year before Victoria became Queen.

I wasn't defending Spectre, it was mostly crap. Although the opening Day of the Dead section was as good as anything in any other Bond.
QoS was just so boring.
I'd have like it more if they had had the balls to go with this theme song though.

personally I think QoS is better than Spectre.

QoS is awful.
Craig's a decent Bond but 50% of his movies have been crap.

Apparently they went with an new exciting 5-5-0 formation with no striker
Coincidentally, 0-5 is what I expect Darlington to win by on Sunday.

I see Rovers have made an appeal following Boris' announcement about numbers being allowed back into grounds
They are appealing for people with spare time on their hands to go along to the minimal to help get the crowds up to 4,000
The good news for the 15ers is that with the rule of 6, they have the option of doubling their attendance.

It's always weird to be happy with a Swindon win, but yesterday was one of those wonderful days.

I'm bored so looked up what was number one on the day the Gap was born.
"Stomp" by Steps.
Just like Bristol Rovers, an obscure heap of crap that nobody else in the country even remembers existing.
