Anyway to listen/watch if you're outside of Bristol?
Freeview 722 commentary here in Devon.

When is DaSilva going to get a start in his specialist position?
Bit puzzled as to why we signed him and then play Pisano at LB. EP hasn't played too well so far and isn't even a LB. Is it just because of the size of the Boro team for this particular game rather than suggesting LJ doesn't trust DaSilva yet?

That defence is a bit worrying. Hope they can defy the odds and keep a clean sheet. I fear the odds are against it though. Flinty could have real fun at set pieces on his return.

I do not see any consensus unless you mean a consensus of 1. And i did say on paper we should win... Why we rarely seem to at Bolton remains a mystery.
Based on comments I've seen on other threads too. Probably just the optimists posting. I do tend to be one of the pessimists and expect the worst.
I'm not sure what effect losing 5 from the squad will have and how good the new players will be.
Hope the lads give me a nice surprise today. COYR.

So - Bolton just won at WBA and the consensus is we should have enough to win?
We haven't won a league game away this year. We have a terrible record up there too. I will be pleased with a point personally.

Taylor Moore?
Pretty sure he picked up an injury not long after the mic'd up training session.
Seems it may be just me who remembers LJ saying 'Taylor Moore? More like Bobby Moore' after one of his early appearances. Before he got the old heave-ho off on loan treatment.

Is Marley Watkins injured?
No sign of Bobby Moore either. Do wonder if he'll make it.

He mentioned ' trimming ' the squad.
So we are going to run with less first teamers and have more Development players coming in to cover perhaps .
I cringed when he said we needed to "remove some of the fat".
How the hell would that sound to you if you were one of the players? Tomlin jokes aside I really despair at the ineptitude of a leader saying something like that.
On balance I think LJ has earned the chance of another season but it wouldn't surprise me at all if it all goes horribly wrong.

Our away form is terrible - as is Kent.

What was the attendance today? I'm wondering if potd is dropping along with our recent form.

Surely they won't give points away now?
Probably - and don't call me shirley.

We have absolutely no-one who can cross a ball in our team.

Just got round to watching the Steve Allen video. Anyone think there’s a tiny chance of seeing O’Dowda on the bench today?
Personally I think that Pisano aside O’Dowda has been the most missed of the injured guys.
Looking at the scars on Callum's ankle it does make you wonder what longer term effect it might have. Shame for such a young player who was really starting to look the business.

I don't blame Johnson, we were cruising at 2-0 and nothing was changed, then the bottle jobs threw it away. It's a mental thing and the manager doesn't get to change that when the game is in full throw. The players need to take blame for this and realise ther let the fans down as well as the manager.
I kind of agree with you there.
However I thought LJ waited too long to bring on a sub. Think he was scared to make the same mistake as last week. Then he brought on Woodrow ffs. Doesn't he know that he's basically the Invisible Man?
Still - I never expected more than a point before KO.

Is it just me who is struggling to get excited about that half because of last weekend? Normally I'd be glowing but I just feel wary of what might happen next.

No one has replied to my earlier question .
Because they worked together will LJ have an advantage over Heckingbottom ? or will Heckingbottom have the advantage ?
What do you think ?
I'm going for LJ . He's the boss .
I think it is all about the players on both sides rather than coaches.
It may come down to who wants it more and puts in the effort. While the coach can affect that I think it is mostly up to the players themselves imho.

Also, Leeds seem to have half their team out due to injury and suspension.
Whenever we play a team in bad form, with loads of injuries or suspensions, I fear the worst. If we get anything out of this game I will be very happy.

Back to last season's self destruct mode.

Just makes me wince when Flint goes up front. He is a good CB and that is where he should be playing. Feels too much like copying Gary's tactics with McCombe. A bit tinpot imo.

LJ lost that game with his tactics. Why keep Mags at left wing back v ten men for so long. Thrown away possibly the season here tonight.
I think it was more Fielding's decision to come rushing out that threw it away myself.

Sky reckon we will go with three at the back. Will be interesting to see if they are right. COYRS!

Reminding me of Cotterill's time in this league. Playing some good football but can't finish and joke defence.
That is a recipe for a relegation scrap. We could be back to that which seems to be our default level in this division.
