If I was a teenager and offered terms by City or Southampton I'd definitely pick City with our current pathway from the academy into the first team. If you'd asked the same question 10 years ago I would have picked Southampton before the question had even been finished. 

I didn't know Glenn Quagmire was a Bristol City fan!

In an old Championship Manager game I had Marvin Brown would often end up playing for England. I guess the researcher got that one wrong.  

I'm sure Scott Murray will sneak in a few Scottish tunes as well! 

Looks as if he'll end up back at Mangotsfield or similar club at the level where we signed him from. At least he'll always be able to say he's scored a goal in the Championship, better than any of us!

RIP Scrumpy, thought the club were trying to reduce the wage bill! Replacing one mascot with two, must have brought Ashton back for a spot of consultancy work. 

I'd be happy with the longer added-time in Championship games as we pay to watch 90 minutes of football and currently only see approx 60 minutes of football.

Thanks - are most games a sell out for the u-21s as the stand is quite small at the training ground?

Tempted to go to a few u-21 games in the future. Are there plenty of empty seats in the stand at Failand?

Looking at their nationalities, I didn't know that Dasilva could play for Wales. He must have turned down approaches from them in the past given some of the players in their squads.

A lot more refreshing to have Pearson who is up front and says it how it is. Imagine how different an interview LJ would have given after a performance like that. 

Tomlin could have been such a better player if he had focussed himself more on football. It mustn't be good for your body travelling back home to Leicestershire every day after training which is what he did at every club he was at.

You can park in Failand village itself. Hill Drive is less than a 10 minute walk and there's plenty of on-street parking there.

We spent plenty of money for league one at the time even after Wilson. Who can remember all the Bristol City legends from the 'magnificent seven' brought in by Tinnion in 2005.
