Not comparable with Bristol City players though. Gerrard was a top earner, in a Liverpool team where he won Champions Leagues / FA Cups. And was his boyhood club. Scott, HNM, Semenyo aren't at all comparable to this.

If our kids had the opportunity to join Leicester, West Ham etc now, they aren’t going to get offered Arsenal, Liverpool etc the season after. No, life isn’t all about money. But to have the opportunity to play in the Premier League may only come around once. To train alongside far better players, and have better coaches, facilitates etc. Most, if not all, Premier League clubs are set up better than us. I cannot see one reason not to move to be honest.

Williams is one of our most effective players, the issue is he's not often available. But when he does play he adds so much to the team!!
