  1. I was there too. They served Beamish Red in the bar at half time. Ivan Testimanu was sitting in front of us reading a Rusdian newspaper.
  2. You sure Miah? iirc the pitch etc has been turned 90 degrees. Consequently I'd say that's a new stadium.
  3. You get a bonus point if you correctly pronounce Birmingham as Bur ming um and not Bur ming haamm!
  4. 74 grounds with City. 44 that are still in use though. Most of my grounds were from 1981 onwards (hello Slarti) so missed out on the old First Division ones. Most obscure? Fisher Athletic (FA Cup when City fans were banned from getting tickets unless you knew Beryl!) and Backwell United (John Shaw testimonial). Living over here in Norn Iron is a bit more problematic. However, I got to Sunderland last season for our first penalty this century. I will be at Boro in February as well.
  5. Just in case you've looked at the above league table and was wondering whatever happened to Croydon Common FC.... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Croydon_Common_F.C. The only professional division 1 team not to continue after WW1.
  6. Are you The Human League in disguise? Different tune as well!
  7. But most importantly she's a City fan and if not, why not?
  8. And Black Knight by Deep Purple. Plenty of doo bee bee doos though so learning the lyrics would be easy!
  9. Gerry Polci Who sang Silver Star and was the lead vocal on December I963? Wow! What a drummer, what a voice.
  10. https://www.irishtimes.com/sport/soccer/2023/11/10/miah-dennehy-first-man-to-score-hat-trick-in-fai-cup-final-dies-aged-73/
  11. Please also add the word Please after Shirt on the placard. Robby McCrorie loves politeness as he was born in Balamory. By adding Please will mean a lot to Robby. Robby McCrorie from Balamory - isn't he good to know.
  12. Dave, As you know I have struggled to understand your flipchart presentations! Today is a milestone. I get it! What you've done is go to the BBC weather app and superimpose the heavy rain diagram (in yellow) onto a football pitch. This means that Sam Bell likes to flood the area with crosses from here!
  13. From The Wurzels Anthem Of The 'West' last verse. Adge knew all along! And there's Still and cider way down west. ok, I changed more to and!
  14. Or someone from Transport police...London Midland Railway

  16. So Dave... First name has three letters. Surname has 5 letters. Mmmmm. Joe Bryan!
  17. It's lovely today here in Norn Iron. Blue sky, 12 degrees and no wind at all on our golf course which is on the coast. His wife Christine (from Northern Ireland if people didn't know/care) might have suggested to play here today. If only I was close enough to Belfast International, I could tell you if they had been spotted...and had nothing else to do!
  18. Only if it doesn't lead to a goal!
  19. I think I have that on vinyl! Great album from a 70s prog band ....or should've been!
  20. Ex Sex Pistols drummer or even his namesake Paul Cook. He's not got much of a budget at Chesterfield and is doing OK.
  21. He was brilliant in The West Wing even if his part was for only a couple of episodes. He could really act.
  22. Pathetic yet again. When will City Supporters Liason People finally admid it is a poor service? At 15.07 it crashed. I still haven't received my refund from last time we had issues in September.
  23. Wait till AI can imitate Fev and his diagramsand stats. I can't understand them in the first place so hopefully AI will do a Janet and John version!
