  1. Anyone had a refund or even an acknowledgement of a refund? I haven't had either of the above.
  2. Hi Ant, courtesy of another thread as well where Slarti quoted Stanley! Couldn't resist this quote as i thought it rather apt!
  3. Because a mortal man can embark on is to sell a book. Are you all sitty comftybold two-square on your botty? Then I'll begin
  4. Even their standard email isn't worth replying. It talks about responding via the email to avoid another ticket. When you do this, guess what you get in return? The same email! Pathetic.
  5. I have just said similar as our contract is with Radio Brizz and not a TV commentary. Please can everyone complain. I'm fed up of having this issue every season. The address again is Bristolcitytvsupport@streamamg.com
  6. Yes. We have tv commentary and not radio Brizz. We had this last season.
  7. If others write to explain no signal maybe they'll realise it isn't just me complaining all the time. Whether or not Radio Brizz switched on or off the isdn/web link isn't the issue. Someone at streamamg should be monitoring it or even someone in the media. I've suggested this a few times but they're obviously too busy or important to respond.
  8. Bristolcitytvsupport@streamamg.com
  9. Need to get a refund one minute after ko.......again
  10. I have just written to the streaming site. Let's see if they can be bothered to reply.
  11. Can't get it either. Radio Brizz is available until 2.59pm. Just heard Brian being interviewed
  12. You might be joking....but you might be right as well!
  13. Nope. Not any more. Nike no longer own Umbro. It is a brand based in the UK but owned by an American company....not Nike.
  14. Glasgow Rangers. He became their new kit man according to the computer.
  15. First heard that joke in the early 80s but no David Icke and it involved the alien going into a pub. He used a different currency called a Zonk. Maybe there are 2 aliens out there!
  16. Depends if Nahki does a Jet style penalty then he might prambulate
  17. Somebody already gave the answer. Blast. But can Splat save the earth in 14 hours?
  18. OK then.... I do. Ever since our glory days up to 1980, I have looked forward to the start of a new season. Like so many, I have thought that we'd be going up but knew some of that was based on wishful, loyal thinking. However, this close season has been different. We finished well and have bought wisely. NP has a backroom staff he wants. There seems to be a genuine bond of trust between players. If Bournemouth can get to the Premier League not once but twice and Luton Town can haul themselves out of the National League to the top tier, then I have every right to believe we can. I just think this is the season for us to do it.... And please, nobody is allowed to remind me of this post until after the 10th game at least!
  19. That's why I have booked a Friday flight and a late Sunday return. The cost of following BCFC isn't a nice one! I could've paid off a country's national debt by now if I counted up the money spent on 74 away league ground visits (some more than once), season tickets and merchandise from the shop and my 1 x BCFC 1982 share....which I used to mention when asked on certain form filling.
  20. I've already booked my flight for the Stoke game on September 30th. Here's hoping that won't be moved
  21. Can go down as well as up. We all follow the FT.
  22. U2 at Locarno was for the October tour. I was there but left fuming as including encore their entire set lasted 45 minutes. The following day I returned my unopened October LP to Strawberry Fayre (above the jeans shop in centre of Broadmead) and exchanged it for Squeeze's East Side Story. Great album. Saw Squeeze support my heroes Dr Feelgood at the Colsunall in 1979. I gave U2 another chance when they played the Colsunall a year later for the War tour. Wow! St Bono of Dublin and the boys were on stage for 2 hours and included him climbing up the PA stack onto the balcony. I think the support was The Blue Cats? Aussie band I think. Have seen Squeeze many times since including the night at the Colsunall when for an entire Glenn Tilbrook introduced their new piano player....Mr Elton John. They sang Heard It Through The Grapevine and I Saw Her Standing There.
  23. If you contact Jerry SLO (supporters Liaison Office) I would have thought he could help you in getting a Cardiff ticket. The Turtle's idea is a good one. We went to their old ground, Ninian Park, and had to sit in the main stand as I couldn't get away end tickets. You no doubt, don't have a Bristolian accent so it won't be a problem. Just celebrate the goals and win when you get over the border afterwards!
