Honest guv, we had a bit left over from a council job up the road.
-
Only not as classy and well maintained.
-
Appropriate for their fans then.

He did just try to hit out but didn`t quite connect but he needs to do it more often in these circumstances - wickets are meaningless ATM. It`s like one of those T20 games where a batsman`s bogged down and is better off getting out for the good of the team. Sibley is a damn good player and a quality opener but just not what we need out there right now. Personally I think we`re thinking about what happened the other day when Jos opened and was out first(?) ball.
-
Surely we need to throw the bat a bit now given tomorrow`s weather forecast. Get a 300-320 lead and four sessions to get them out (assuming no play on Monday). The trouble is though, good as Sibley is, he can`t score quickly.

Don`t forget they were on their way back to Hull.

They`ve done a really good job I reckon. There doesn`t seem to have been any disruption to traffic during this major construction project and all local businesses seem to have been able to function normally - it`s almost as if no work is being carried out so fair play to them. They must be just adding the finishing touches now ready for the grand unveiling in a month or two. #comingforus

The Coronavirus and its impact on sport/Fans Return (Merged)

Initially I think you take the first five games say and ask ST holders if they want to go to each - I would probably say yes to Saturdays but no for midweek games for instance- and then see how the numbers stack up. I believe that, with the number of ST holders who would likely say they don`t feel comfortable going for health reasons, the number that won`t go if they have to wear a mask, the number of junior tickets sold that are rarely used, the number that can`t go due to work and other reasons, the ones that don`t want to sit in another stand and the number that don`t fancy it due to the lack of the social side it won`t be much over 8k anyway. It also depends on the game of course - many more will want to go to Forest than will Rotherham. One proviso will have to be though is that if you say you`re going and then don`t there needs to be some sort of `penalty` otherwise a fair few may say yes to all and then only turn up to two or three depriving others of their chance to see a game. -

The daft thing is though Dave that you & Joe, being in a disabled area, can probably social distance better than most of the stadium. Any idea what the take-up for disabled areas is as a matter of interest? Over-subscribed or spare capacity? Even though you understandably probably won`t want to risk it (as no doubt will many others in those areas with health problems) I could see you being able to go to every game if you wanted! -
300 at best now. The WI have bowled and fielded well TBF except for the drop by the big fella.
-
Hmm. Hull, Wigan & Charlton down - three more clubs in League 1 that are a country mile ahead of the sad s*gs. So we now have Plymouth, Posh, Pompey, Sunderland, Doncaster United, Oxford, Swindon, Wigan, Hull, Charlton, Ipswich, MK Dons, Blackpool & Burton in the division - all streets ahead of the mob up Horfield. They`ll struggle to make the top half let alone the playoffs.
-
The TMS team said Jack was pretty certain to play in the next one.
-
I suppose wickets aren`t important as long as we get the 100 or so quickly. I can`t see the WI being bowled out easily though, they look a much better side than they have for a good few years - much more disciplined.
-
Oh dear. 1/1
-
Buttler & Stokes opening, could be fun or a disaster.
-
It was nice to hear the numerous mentions of them nearly going out of the league on GD a few years back - I wonder who went instead.
-
England all out, West Indies need 200 and we need ten wickets. Should be an interesting day.
-
And were better run. And could pay more despite being a league below. And had permanent structures at their home ground that were unlikely to blow away in a stiff breeze.

How shit must the wages at Gills be if one of them turned down a new contract there to sign for the s*gs?
