  1. I think they will have to. Under the Sale Of Goods Act(?) fans are not receiving the product they have paid for (watching live football, from your seat in a stadium) so a refund must surely have to be offered. That`s not to say fans shouldn`t have other options should they choose to take them up (free Robins TV subs, a `free` ST for the next full season etc.) but the option of a refund will have to be there by law I think. One thing I hope the club don`t do though is penalise those ST holders that opt for the refund - they must IMO have the opportunity to retake their seat at existing ST prices in future seasons and not be treated as new ST holders.
  2. That day has certainly provided us with some Vintage Stuff!
  3. One thing to consider sadly is what happens if some clubs go bust potentially leaving gaps in the divisions?
  4. Just prolonging the agony. if there have to be sporting casualties as a result of the virus this is one no-one in their right mind would shed any tears over.
  5. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/52478598 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/52443200 Couple of interesting BBC articles explaining what`s being considered
  6. They probably have, we just don`t know about it yet.
  7. I don`t know whether it`s just that Devon & Cornwall are less populated generally but I haven`t seen an increase in traffic on the roads or people out and about at all when I`ve been out at work. I did one of my two days a week`s work yesterday and one thing I did notice was hardly any police cars around (I only saw one, on an overbridge over the M5) - due to the weather changing I reckon as it chucked it down all day. Normally I see about ten in various spots.
  8. There`s putting your point forward and then there`s this...……………..
  9. I say this every time this is suggested but, given the road network in this country, wouldn`t an east/west split be better? I suspect the likes of Exeter or Cheltenham can get to Rochdale or Accrington a lot easier than they can to Colchester or Cambridge.
  10. Interesting interview with the Col U chairman on the BBC website http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/52457574
  11. There`s a huge customer base for the shite they sell up Horfield way mind.
  12. It could well be. There is obviously no obligation to renew a player`s contract and I suppose by telling them early then they have a better chance of finding a new club. I`m surprised Frank Nouble`s only 28 though - he seems to have been around for about twenty years!
  13. The first of many I reckon. I`m just a bit surprised it`s Col U first, they seem one of the better run ones.
  14. What, you mean we`ll have about twenty fans incessantly droning on with some dirge about a prostitute?
  15. I`ve said this right from the start - they`ll want something to boost morale during the restrictions the longer they went on and this was always going to be a relatively easy one to do. Racing and cricket behind closed doors will follow I expect.
  16. What makes that doubly funny for me is that he`s the dead spit of my ex brother in law who is a total arse!
  17. And would showcase both their home and away kits in the same match.
  18. The more things change, the more they stay the same.
  19. I`d forgotten the UWE display - I needed cheering up, thanks mate!
  20. And Babestation, fake Fanta, out of date crisps. We might be some time...…………...
  21. Selling tickets for the non-existent row M does it for me. That and the poster who went on the Man City forum pleading for them to love the g*s more than us. We do need a comprehensive list somewhere.
  22. Neither can I. I think it was just some mediocre mid-table side with nothing to play for though and they only needed to not lose at home and two other teams to not win to be safe so I doubt anything went wrong - all the hard work was done at Wycombe after all.
  23. He was only going in to fill a trolley with pot noodles and monster munch (thus avoiding suspicion as these form a g*sheads staple diet) only to abandon it at the checkout.
