Yes, were you the clever bloke at the back then?
I never quite got non-Euclidean gas funding models, something about hyper-leverage and a million becoming a billion in a very strong gravitational field.
That`s now been disproved by the latest research at CERN. Apparently the strong gravitational field theory was flawed and it turns out that when you factor in string theory the million is actually worth the square root of **** all. Professor Brian Cox is going to do a programme on it for `Made In Bristol`.

They may attract zoology students doing "field research" I suppose...
I would imagine the anthropology ones would like to maybe carry out a study on the effects of inbreeding too.

Surely you meant to post a picture of a bottomless pit of Jordanian money?......
I think Glyn`s trying to show what Wally`s fortune looks like when it`s converted to proper money.

It can't be scripted, they just keep on giving.
My personal favourites
"Think it was said around the time they announced plans for ashton vale. Well, people are talking about us worldwide now!!"
and
"Our bloke got his own bank so AV a bit of that Lansdown!!"
They're a brilliant bunch. Long live the gas.
Well SL was basically right as when (if) they ever move to the UWE Bristol Rovers will never be spoken of again, as they will surely use their new name of South Gloucestershire Rovers.
Obviously when they finally go bust, no-one will ever speak of them again anyway.

Another crowing update phone call from my brother in law just ended on a sore note (again)....
Him - "The diggers are going in at the UWE in October, looks like we're getting our stadium after all"
Me - "Hmmm a car park actually"
Him - "Well that's because the builders need to park somewhere so they're doing that first"
Me - "Are you actually that stupid?"
Him - "That's what the club were saying today anyway You're just jealous"
Me - "Of a car park? Or League Two football? Or the billionaire who can't fund his own stadium and doesn't appear to have a pot to piss in?...Let me think hmmmm nope"
Him - "Oh fxxk off" (hangs up)
Dont know why he sets himself up every week.....but I love it.
TBF I am a bit jealous of them getting a car park what with how difficult it`s getting finding somewhere to park round AG these days

Tomorrow Cambridge Utd play at the Mem.
In tonight's preview on BBC Radio Cambs the presenter asked "What is the Memorial Stadium like"? The sports reporter replied....................
"It's an unusual stadium. The main stand looks like a cricket pavilion and the other stands look like they were air lifted in from other grounds around the country. The game is expected to be a sell out though with ten thousand there".
They said that on PW tonight. Believe it when you see it - 8k tops.

I just don't see where they're going to come from
Bloody midfield only got three yesterday - shocking and a totally inadequate contribution

Bolton a classic example of overpaid yesterdays men, playing like they couldn't give a ****, Wheater and Moxey should be ashamed to pick up their wage packets, they were especially embarrassing.
I think that`s part of their problem Es, they haven`t been picking up their wage packets for some time now.

I couldn't agree more young man and it's about time you accepted that. Well done
Acceptance is the first step on the long road to being cured.

They just said on PW that despite the court ruling the UWE will still go ahead. How do they know? Someone from the club told them. Well, that`s OK then.

Court verdict on Thursday morning! It will be interesting reading on the forum, whichever way the verdict goes.
The same day as I understand it that Bolton have to announce whether they`re going into admin this season. Glad I`ve got a day off!

As I said earlier, more teams come into it after today. Fulham certainly, Brentford and Huddersfield possibly as well.

Sounds like Adam Matthews had a better game than Tuesday too. Hope he`s getting up to speed. Kept us in it didn`t he?

Be a bit of company for you when you get up in the middle of the night to listen to games! Hope he loves it like we all do - even the bad times. Safe trip over mate.

All OK at Exeter now and no one injured, thank GOD, the game will be 27 minutes late.
Yep. It sounds like the evacuation plans worked perfectly and 1000 were out of the stand `within minutes`. Great news and shows clubs do get some things right when it really matters.

But the point is, if Brentford plummet, they could end up finishing below all of us.
And we have to go there. They do have a game in hand but it`s Hull away from last Tuesday when Hull were in the cup.
