Nick Higgs on the Stadium at last night's Supporters Club AGM: The hearing at the Court of Appeal is about holding Sainsbury's to the original terms of the contract, £30.05 million. It is not about compensation although he did add the club will be seeking an extra £5 million to compensate them for delays, rising costs etc. The hearing will be heard by a panel of three judges who will listen to the solicitors arguments. If we win Sainsbury's do technically have the right to appeal to the Supreme Court or the European Court of Human Rights but they are not certain to get a hearing and probably wouldn't go that far because of the negative PR. Interestingly he added that there around 20-30 other organisations who are suffering from a Sainsbury's change of mind who are waiting to see how our appeal goes before commencing their own action against them.

Bastards. They`re not washing their own kit at all. That woman is clearly wearing next year`s city shirt. They`ve obviously kidnapped one of the Academy side and have enslaved her.

Is there an easy way to drill down to the reasons for the banning orders?  I wouldn't mind betting most at BCFC are for things most people would be surprised actually warrant an order at all.

Looking at the Hedllu in an intimidating manner? Being English in Cardiff without a permit? Saying `ouch` when being hit by a baton? Getting off a train at Bristol Temple Meads having spent a day in Cardiff?

    Take your pick.

  4. He`s back from Vegas now and was interviewed on Points West. He said he still wants to fight in the US but also wants to stage a fight in Bristol: `a big event, in a football stadium or something like that` he said. Here`s hoping.

I expect you can hear the roar of the crowd from your place can`t you? It must be terrifying and the house must shake to it`s very foundations. I`m surprised you can get insurance.

It is pretty shocking to be so far over. That said the guy look ripped I wonder if he should even be fighting at that weight. He surely must be feeling it in a fight he he has to drop that kind of weight.

I think golden boy promotions should be compensating all involved including fans you have paid for tickets and travel/accomodation

I guess there are more than just Lee`s fight on the card so I bet there won`t be any refunds from the organisers that`s for sure. It`ll be up to Caballero`s team to do anything that gets done but, being America, they`ll no doubt have lawyers working in getting out of it as we speak and will fight it tooth and nail until they wear them down.

What`s next for Lee now though? I presume he`ll have to`defend` if that`s the right word given the circumstances and he should get to pick the venue. I can think of an excellent state of the art stadium in Bristol that should just about be completed by the time he needs it.
