Nonsense. I, amongst others, have warned about SL’s stewardship for a number of years now, and taken abuse for it. It is good to note that others are now coming round to this critique of SL, especially the nonsense that is Bristol Sport. Thank goodness he never got his hands on Glos cricket!

It is becoming more and more difficult to read the runes of Ashton Gate. What we do know does suggest all is not well. If our owner had the slightest interest he would make a clear, unequivocal, and transparent statement on the present situation at the club and future plans. His management style leaves a great deal to be desired. As for the club Chairman, I frankly have long ago given up in that direction ……..

He’s Mike Gibson born again! At least one bad mistake per match on average.

A consistent dominating striker is what brings the crowd in. Currently we have no player that would encourage me to pay a large sum for two of us to travel from deepest Sussex to Bristol to catch a game. With travel costs, overnight stay, and meals, on top of ticket price, I am looking at around £400 . For that I would want to anticipate the possibility of a memorable visit - at present that looks a distant possibility.

Guess this is the owner shutting the wallet. Seriously fear a tough season ahead, and Nige not wishing to extend his contract in such a situation

Playing in the wrong league. Failed to make the transition and unlikely to do so now

Easy second half target. Stop Hull scoring and then score minimum of two. Football is so simple, as Brian Clough used to say. BUT ……… -

What a dreadful goal to concede All that money, well not that much, spent on the defence and that is the result On that showing we look a division lower -

Or the old Third Division boot. Has served us well in the past !?! -
This situation is painful to watch An absent and, on present evidence, disinterested owner An excuse for a Board led by another disinterested family member Owner desperately seeking a buyer - but for what? City or Bristol Sport What annoys me most is the total disregard for the fan base, which will still be here, come hell and high water. Anyone worth their salt would make a full statement on the present and future of City. I feel ashamed on behalf of City for the way the enormous effort put in by NP to sort the mess out on the football side is ignored by the owner and Chair. I, for one, believe he is one of the best managers I have seen in over 70 years of following City. How he keeps optimistic is a mystery to me, so from one older fan, Thanks for everything Nige, but above all thanks for giving us hope.

As so many of us have said over years, SL’s failure to make his idea ofBristol Sport work in the interests of City is now becoming clearer by the day. It may well take a long time to get City on track to become a top Premier side. Fear I shall now not live to see it. Ironic thanks to SL from this ageing Robin

We HAVE a plan, any plan? how unlike the City I know

You are absolutely correct. We just need to get on with it
