Fairly obvious that this is Bournemouth testing the water, they know we previously said £25m - but they’re wondering if there is any movement on that, so £15m offered and they’re hoping we come back and say no thanks but we’ll take £20m (just as an example).

Feels like putting a price on it at all is a negotiating tactic, if we don’t want to sell then why give any price?

Pretty obvious that £25 million is the initial negotiating price, it’ll come down for the initial fee but probably be made up in potential add ons, can see him going for around £18m with a decent sell on clause and other appearance related fees on top

I’m less bothered by insider trading, the way these betting firms operate I hope people take them for every penny, it’s the potential influence that Toney could have with those involved in matches to get the outcome he wants, directly or indirectly and like someone suggested betting on himself scoring could have an impact on the way Toney plays himself 

Rumours have been that he needs to retire for sometime, is sad as he was a good mid table defender for a prem side

On the subject of swearing, had a right moron sat behind me on Saturday - I sit in the children’s section and luckily my 6 year old didn’t fancy it this week. This guy spent the whole match swearing at the top of his voice and then complaining that he was getting looks - guy obviously had no awareness of who he was surrounded by. I was expecting a drunken teen but when I looked around he must of been in his 60’s

They released a statement to say that it’s down to changing auditors and hope to have it sorted shortly - never know the true story until it all comes out but sounds something about nothing for Burnley
