Are they Championship ready curtains?
I thought it was curtains for Rovers after they lost to Mansfield?

If I knew how to start a poll, I would.
With only two local County Cricket clubs it looks as if otib is split between the mighty Somerset and the average Gloucestershire........
I think you're exaggerating there - we dream of being average

Amazing 2nd Test in the Caribbean. Today was the 5th day and WI had one wicket left which soon fell leaving Pakistan 187 to win and nearly all day to get them in. The game was over before Tea as Pakistan slumped to 81 all out with five of the team scoring ducks.
Betting?

The Sags were after him but Peterborough got in first
Hmmmmmmm I wonder
Spending that transfer fee already?

I'd wager that all 10 combined will still be less in transfer fees than their record singing.
Dunno. I reckon they must have got quite a bit for that Matty Taylor...

"Never been in the first division, never been in the 4th division" I used to get when I was younger. Like it was some sort of bragging point.
Yes, I did enjoy having to edit the verbal history book on 2nd May 2001 to "Never been in the first division, errr....".
There definately were teds there that night, btw
I'm sure I saw it running across the bottom panel on Sky Sports News earlier.
And it's bollocks anyway. They were bottom of Division 3 (South) in 1939, thereby causing the Second Word War

I see Brum had 7 yellow cards today, will the FA have the balls to deduct points for this or will they get a fine, (recinded retrospectively )?
Is that the rule?

According to SL we came through this season with flying colours.
Anyone care to guess which colours? An omnishambles saved by Tammy Abraham to whom I wish the very best.
But it could be worse - we could be owned by the Venkys or the Oystons I think Steve Lansdown is wrong about LJ, but what do I know? Other than that SL loves Bristol City FC, that is

If Forest & Blackburn both lose, but Blackburn lose by one less, therefore tying the goal difference, is the next decider goals scored? Anyone?
Yes

Nice to see that at least some of the Rovers squad have summer jobs already. Fair play.
Many years ago, I had a summer job doing the books for a local ice cream firm. A couple of Gas players turned up looking for summer employment and were told "bugger off, we're solid City here".
PS It was a fine sight to see eight men piling out of an ice cream van outside the Gate for an early-season evening game

1917 I presume Aiz, and did you have to stop on the way to give the donkey a drink?
I was thinking about future reminiscences...

Just found out the 0835 and the 1018 from Taunton are making extra stops at parson Street station,
I wish great Weston had let this info out before today as I could have got up a hour later
Well done, GWR. Pity about BCC

It's going to be farcical isn't it. The train companies have been suitably accommodating and you have to give the city council credit for getting 13,000 runners on the road at same time as our biggest crowd in 40 years.
Anyway on to the game. 3-1 City, Tammy with a brace.
Once again our beloved city council demonstrates its concern for us football supporters. Touching, isn't it?

I can see that as a Lowry painting, it's so bleak.
When i was a littl'un I thought that "The Industrial North" meant Eastville. All railway tracks and gasometers.

Alright guys, are we still up for meeting on Gloucester Road in 30 minutes disguised in blue and white quarters? The plan is to throw bricks at Millwall coaches full of 2 year olds whilst shouting "goodnight Irene". Theyll never suspect that us Teds were behind it!! The perfect crime!!!
And we'll do up our hedgehogs in blue and white scarves and set them on harmless grannies.
