Read @Olé 's report.
They are always fair and informative, and written by a guy who goes to most away games and therefore can put some context on it.
No one's happy or complacent, but there are some heavy defeats that are worse than others.
Fair point. Back in the day, I remember a game at Craven Cottage where we were all over them. We lost 4-0

As promised I have updated the chart I made based on the excellent suggestion by @RedRaw
As with last time the main thing to be aware of is that this chart shows attendance differences expressed as a percentage of the lower attendance in any given year in the dataset.
0 on the left-hand scale means exactly equal attendances in that season (i.e. 0% percent difference)
100 means the higher club got double the average attendance of the lower club that season (i.e 100% difference of the lower club)
200 means the higher club got triple the average attendance of the lower clubThe other thing I did not mention is that I believe the data maybe relates to league attendances only?
The source data used for this can be found at
http://european-football-statistics.co.uk/attnclub/bric.htm and
http://european-football-statistics.co.uk/attnclub/brir.htmI was also asked by @1982 if i could express this as a pie chart - I don't think that is so relevant for attendance difference and will work better for just the raw attendance figures - If i can find good data on the division sizes over time i could multiply out the average attendance by home games that season to get an actual number of people through the turnstiles - now that would make for some fun graphics and charts.
So, since England won the World Cup (yes, we did, kiddies, ask your granddad) the Gas have had better attendances than us precisely once. They're coming for us, right?

Won the game in the first half . Neat quick passing and interplay two lovely long range goals.
Forest upped their game after their goal but we did enough to contain them .
Who's up next ?
Newton Heath, Major. I think they're a railway works team.

Are we absolutely certain that the al quadis are not rich City fans involved in a long complicated confidence scam to destroy the 15ers from within? Just a thought...

Perhaps, but as its acronym confirms, the IPL is played in India where cricket is the main spectator sport and the fans are just that; fanatical.
You only have to watch the way the crowd, adults both male and female together with numerous young children, because it must be said Indian cricket certainly does attract a joyous family audience, all surge to get their faces on screen whenever a TV camera scans the crowd; the ubiquitous, hand-written and often inane messages written on scraps of cardboard and just the general, almost Carnival atmosphere at grounds throughout the country to understand why their IPL matches are so well-attended.
But, somehow, I don't foresee similar size crowds flocking to Cardiff on a cold, damp English summer evening to watch two teams with little or no local interest.
Oh Well. I am sure the ECB knows best.
WELSH summer evening. I'll grant you the cold and damp, though...

And I love reading bull posted by people picking out odd posts without bothering to read or even understand the context under which it was posted.
I was watching the game and directly after Hull's 2nd goal, we were in fact being battered a battering that lasted 10 minutes and could have resulted in more goals, we were in panic mode, until we took the game by the scruff of the neck and then relieved the pressure somewhat by Flint's goal.
Perhaps had you bothered to read my half time post and full time post instead of randomly picking out posts and shoehorning them into a 'look at me' post, you would have possibly understood the context, why not even add LJ's post match comments to your sneering post he pretty much back up what I said.
And indeed Horace's tweet which said much the same thing

Correct. On temple way. Soon sorted though. They got a replacement coach to them. They arrived at the services up near sheffield just before we left 15 mins ago. So they were about an hour behind us. We are about hour from Hull so they will make match.
Fortunately there was a newbie on board so nobody went hungry...

And their gobby irritants seem to have piped down about being either 'the 6th richest club in England' or 'the second richest club after Man City...'
Meanwhile, we have kept our heads down, built a Prem-ready stadium and have slowly built a squad that can at least compete in the second tier....stuff they can only dream of....yet they boast of being 'Championship ready' when their stadium, squad and fan base are clearly miles away from being anywhere near that level....still, it makes me laugh, often when I need it most!
Yes, we should be grateful for that last point
