You mean actual PL football during an tenure as owner?
All for the flak Tan gets - but he's achieved much more at Cardiff than SL has here in half the time.
Youre not alone in missing the irony in that post

Disagree with your first sentence. Tinnion will 100% throw Manning under the bus if it saves his own skin.
Talking this season mate. I dont think we will go down so an early admission of failiure isnt a quality you associate with those mugs.
If we went down, I totally agree with you.

They wont sack Manning.
DEFINITELY wont sack Tinnion.
Jonny Crayon its his dads club.
A few thousand season cards not being renewed will get the message to the arrogant *****.
Whether they heed that message is debateable, but a L1 BCFC is worth less than a Champ one so think about that "Sir Steve".

Manning has gone full LJ now. Having no clue what to do, he just chucks on every attacker we've got.
Like Johnson I suspect the players will get thrown under the bus.

So no-one likes my suggested song for tomorrow? He comes from Senegal and now he'll win **** All, Famara....
Thats fine with me and thanks for the responses. Not quite a 'Marmite' player for us but the replies suggest not everyone appreciated his efforts as i did especially away from home when Lee J was playing just one up top and also in defending corners
If Pearson had been able to keep him, he wouldn't have his awful rep of leaving us in the position he did; poor win rate over 3 seasons, desperately short of tall forwards etc. The more you think about the players Pearson 'lost' the worse his record becomes. Diedhou's exit was not all the manager's fault though.
Just.****.Off
Please.

You're being too realistic. Don't you know that will not go down well on here!
C'mon mate im a miserable card carrying Tinnion/Lansdown hater but like 99.9% on here I only want City to win.
By any means !

Yeah but only back to where they've been for most of the last 60 years.
Unlike Bournemouth, Brentford etc etc
Yep.
Admirable club.
Having said that Bournemouth and Brentford find themselves looking down on them.
They dared to dream despite their size
( I know Bmuff cheated btw)

Diedhiou was incapable of playing with a partner.
Little game intelligence or enthusiasm to work in conjunction with a partner
Setting aside how we are currently playing , Id say TCs ideal partner would be mobile , athletic , good movement and intelligence ,not necessarily a significant physical presenceSo someone on every clubs radar

It could be a case of Tommy having reached a level for a spell that he will never replicate.
It could be that he is unhappy at the club following the sackings (also AS but on the cards for ages)
It could be he hates how Manning sets up the team.
Whatever it is, he has lost his mojo, and will be at another club next season when we will see if he is the real deal or a flash in the pan.

Weston must’ve told them where to stick it….as Taunton are playing Saturdays game at Gloucester City!!
Hope for their sake that it’s a good ££ deal. Even the additional fuel costs for staff and team to get there will be more than unwelcome.
Nearer options surely Pete - Clevedon ?

When they're gone they're gone; i dont usually have much sentiment about ex-players and certainly not about ex-managers - unlike a small group on here - but this Saturday may be an exception. I wont cheer him on but i certainly wont boo him; what about you?
I quite liked CoD until his injury which i think happened at, or soon after, he ripped Sunderland's LB to pieces at the Stadium of Light. Thereafter he didnt really impress.
Famara was different; we had a good song for him, which could be modified to "he comes from Senegal and now he'll win F.All, Famara"
Some 50 goals for us in 160 games, great defensively and part of an era where we recruited really good forwards, unlike the most recent ones of Mehmeti and Cornick
Let's hope his legs have aged a bit and he doesnt cause us any problems.
Ill ignore him initially but he will naturally get boos so how he handles them might set the tone for the rest of the game.
I think he went through the motions latter stages of his time here, so I dont think too fondly of him tbh.

If you think I work for BS you are very wrong. Anti Tinnion, anti Jon Lansdown. Willing to give Manning time. Hardly screams BS employee does it!
If not BS then an attention seeker.

Twitter, or X if you prefer is sometimes a source of good info. It’s also home to some batshit crazy people. And because I look at a lot of City content on there, I get things recommended in the “for you” section that are linked to the club.
Leaving aside that it recommends Ian Gay on that basis, today it’s shown this in my “for you” tab.
Now this isn’t a slight on Medube because he may end up having a decent loan spell, but this may be the most insane city comment I’ve ever seen on Twitter.
Can anyone better it?
Does this fella usually tweet like this or is he being a bit ironic ?

Yes but I see rugby, basketball, and particularly women's football in Bristol (which is never going to have the investment that the top teams have) as a drain on my investment into the elements I do wish to purchase.
Agreed and I think Lansdown sees English club rugby as a lemon currently.
Clubs have scrapped male Academies but I dont think any would dare do likewise to their womens teams.
Possibly underfund them but not cast adrift. Plenty of hype in the womens game so I suspect any buyer would take it on, but what they would do investment wise would be interesting.

BCW is also under Holdings, as it’s under BCFC. It is its own legal entity, so could be split out, if required.
Only my opinion, but I wouldn’t be surprised if an investor would want to keep the WFC with the Men’s.
I think the buyer and seller would get a lot of flak if that didnt happen Dave.

So if I want to buy the football club, stadium and HPC, that's doable.
I've got no interest in rugby, women's football, or basketball.
I suspect that isnt doable, as they wouldnt want the womens football set up to stand on its own with a different owner.
Or fold...
