Who's volunteering to carry him down North Street on their shoulders when we get promoted then?
If it comes to it I've got his old man as he's smaller.
Apparently it means we are passi9nate fans if we do that.

Have you never read a losing matchday thread on here...?!
True but I rarely recall for calling for the managers head. Maybe a mix up of formations or new players in.

Aw i love how their fans are in complete meltdown again. Mid table and talks of getting rid of dopey already.....so glad we aren't as deluded as them!!
So without the two loans from chelsea and matty taylor going on the cheap, they are gonna slip further down.

Anyone else watching McGoldrick today thinking he'd be a decent foil for Tammy?
Strong, quick (ish), good feet. Looked as good as he could with such poor service.
For a foward he didnt have get around the pitch, he even won the ball a couple of times at the back. Would have liked to have a seen Engvall get some game time as well.

You know you could just move the keeper position out of goal right? That way there is no one in goal or do they prevent that on this footy manager.

Besides obviously needing new strikers. We also need to replace Bobby Reid and Joe Bryan. Sorry there not good enough. O'Dowdra doesn't give us anything when he comes on either. Feel really down today, I thought Reading were really average.
Bobby was one of the better players i thought. Quick slick passing and the reading back line were shitting it when he came at them. Agree with Bryan and O'Dowda though but not sure where Bryan fits in ATM.

I try not to comment on games immediately after watching them but what **** awful support that was from Reading.
Not one single full song from them the entire game, be grateful for the atmosphere that we usually slate!
Yeah they were terrible and we were still singing at 2-0 down.
Am i the only one who finds it rather amusing everytime opposition fans sing "Bristols a shithole"?

Frustrating defeat again but i noticed as soon as we went 2 down we started moving forward with purpose. Bryan looked completely out of place today and was chasing the ball often. Cant fault the second half effort the players gave but again too late in the game to start competing.
We had enough chances but we look scared to shoot at times. We caused them enough trouble, especially going two up top with wilbs who i though was a great impact sub. If tammy had his shooting boots we would have got something from the game but he fluffed two really good opportunities.
Reading are third so not a bad second half performance (despite being end to end in spells) would love to have that McCleary in our team he ripped through our defence on several occasions.
Lastly.........who was the ****** in the shorts?

Wasn't going to admit this, but I was on the away terrace with my Charlton-supporting mate tonight. While I felt pretty ashamed to be setting foot in the Mem (probably my first and last time – might need a chemical bath), I can't describe how satisfying it was to watch the Gas get hammered 5-1. After a fairly strong start, they were absolutely dire for most of the game. Atmosphere was terrible, and those tent stands are laughably bad. Mind the gap!
You've done it now rovers fans be all over this. Funny though i know 2 gas mates who been to the gate to watch the Newcastle and Brighton games.
Which reminds me that i saw a minibus of gas on the bridge for the PO final v Brighton.
Their atmosphere always was shit. They might wake up one day the losers.

Got to feel sorry for them, no? Although it's the gas I don't want the EFL or whoever runs this rubbish to be getting more money.
I think its absolutely hilarious yet worrying at the same time how thick and deluded they are. Even the chairmen has jumped on the bandwagon about 40k at wembley when 48k was the total haha. Wasnt there 16k grimsby?
Its a shit trophy that no one wants what a complete **** up.

Those blocks hold 300 each. They are about three-quarters full, so 500 max
Why do they always lie about everything. That is no way 1k. Doesnt matter how many they take anyway they make no atmosphere.

Did I really just read that Marcus Bignot is now Grimsby manager?!!!!!
Wow he was a complete tosser from what i remember. I also remember him scoring that goal after about 28 seconds after KO at ashton gate in 2000?

Ah no penalty for them and red card for the opposition then tonight...

Don't ya just hate it when they turn any criticism of their own fans into a dig at us?!
On gaschat they are complaining that some of their fans booed their team before they equalised against Fleetwood, and posts quickly said stuff along the lines of 'that's what city fans do' and 'what I like about gasheads is that we never criticise our team unlike the sh*theads' etc etc etc....
Why does every discussion about their fans, club etc inevitably end in a dig at us and our supposed 'cr*p support' - which incidentally has long, long, long been at levels they can only dream about in their entire lifetimes...?!
And they think we are obsessed...they just can't help themselves....
Yeh well we know why this thread came about and it was off the back of all their obsessive parties, threads and getting on their knees to windass. We rarely boo and hope we never do when we are in the playoffs .
The other ironic thing about this is that on radio bristol i always noticed you get rovers fans slating their manager and even asking for his head after two defeats on the trot and then think they are going up after two wins on the trot.

Yet annoyingly the 2015ers have a decent play off record. That's something they have over us, I guess.
Big difference in a league 1 and 2 playoff final compared to championship play off final.
Lets face it without a revamped stadium or brand new one they wont attract the players to progress to the championship.
-
For a team who were winning 2-1 it wasn't half quiet walking around the mem tonight.
On a sidenote am i the only one who wants them to get promoted so we can smash them in the league?

Not related to the club they supported, but when I was 8 or 9 a grown man snapped a pool cue over his knee because I beat him 2-0 in a best of 3 that he challenged me to!

The story regarding meeting gas fans reminded me of when i was 7 or 8 in little stoke social club i think it was with me old man and my cousin.
We were playing pool when a geezer and his boy came over to put a quid down for the next game. Turns out they were gas fans and when they realised that we me and my cousin were city i had the old geezer saying why you supporting that load of shit bristol city are rubbish blah blah blah.
I was only a wee lad and it made me feel uncomfortable so i stopped playing pool.
At what point do grown ******* men act aggressive to a young boy because of the team he supports. I suppose fans of every club have these pricks.
