  1. Apart from an indecisive moment in the first 5 mins....we have held them well. Worked hard to win the ball back with some impressive turn overs. Seemingly grind to a halt (literally and in terms of ideas) at the edge of their 18 yard box.

We are defeating ourselves at the moment with poor passes and decision making. Still static when not on the ball.....need to love to create space to run into and options left and right.

Max, should have done better for the goal but ultimately has 3 immense saves that have kept us in it.

Feel like they have another gear they would call on.....just need to keep it at 1-0 and generate some opportunities. Need to just sprint into thier box with the ball and hope to be pulled down.

Done well to keep Ward-Prowse out of freekick opportunities.

    COYRs!!!

Still not got mine - currently on the call with Bristol Sport....will let you know how I get on!

Right, been on to BS (aptly shortened) - They are going to ring me back between 1600-1700hrs today- Likely have to collect from Window 20 at the ticket Office at West Ham.  Guy said that the tickets were only sent out "late last week" - didn't think to ask when they received them! 🙄

  3. I had a pair of Gola (from a chairty shop as my parents were always proper skint!).....thought I was Schilachi after I got them....he had more success in front of goal though 🤣

I've still got a pair of Umbro Special League boots that I bought in the late 80's, that sit in a bag under the stairs complete with shinpads, socks and shorts, 'just in case'. I'm 63 this year 🤣

    Love this!

Even if accurate, missing Sykes for a few weeks is another blow to a thin squad.

Agree....he tends to grab a game by the scruff of the neck at times and create a few chances....

At least we'll have all the new players that we will be buying....😙

Sounds like that was the plan from WHU but does look like our own fanbase's aversion to digital season tickets discouraged that one.

What is it about not moving with the times 🤐

I personally like the idea of an away ticket to keep with the printed programme...especially in an age of nothing tangible.

(Partially the same reason why I have a vinyl collection)

Manning has been winning me round in recent weeks, which is natural given the results. Still find the football a bit boring, but everyone will have their own opinion.

So this isn’t a dig at him, but can you name a worse city game than what we witnessed today? Everything from performance to atmosphere and even the weather was just completely not there today. It has to be the one of, if it the worse, days at football for a long long time.

    Sunderland.

When we melted and lost 4-3 (i think) ...that was turgid sh1t!

15 points from Mannings 11 games = 1.36PPG so there has been no real improvement so far on Pearsons stats this season.

Yes, but we are playing "front foot football"....clearly this means across the back repeatedly with no forward movement.

Simply undone by a patient team who knew that, on the balance of probability, an opportunity would arise.....and it did....on 89mins.....they were playing for a draw came away with much more.....we were playing for a win (not sure I actually believe that now I've written it) and come away with nothing.

Are people still in denial about the ability of Conway? Looks out of his depth in every single game.

He is getting absolutely no service. The issue starts with a lack of creative midfielders....the link between the defence (which is usually quite strong) and the forwards is likely a sieve......we lose the ball too easily in midfield.

Add to that no movement off the ball (especially a thrown ins)....and be become to easy to read.

Still have an over-reliance on going down the left.

Weimman never in the right position to enable Tanner to play forward down the right....resulting in a backward pass....I've been critical of him....

But genuinely felt for the lad today. People (in the team) jumping on him telling him where to go....and they aren't in a playable position themselves.

All in all a poor performance.
