No chances created.

AW needs to play in front of Tanner.....keeps drifting to the centre....when Tanner then gets the ball he has no option to play to.

Nope, it because "no one likes them" (apparently).

I just want points (preferably 3 - but 1 would do) - the most critical focus should be getting to 50+ points and securing championship status for next season.
I think it is fairly obvious that we are on the fringes (perhaps out performing ourselves / expectation??) of the playoffs - but, as is always the same in this league, the margins are so fine - a winning run can see you climb exponentially - equally a loss can send you falling like a stone. I am not sure that we are there in terms of play off push and I think that any financial backing (if any) in Jan will be limited (having just posted a £22m loss).
Sadly, our only consistency is being wonderfully inconsistent (both in terms of play due to available resources and financial backing to see us properly mount a challenge) Having had a few days to consider things I cannot fault the team and their drive to try and succeed. They fight for each other - something that emerged under NP but seems to have been consolidated under LM - Think we have surprised a few teams of late.
I will be there (as always) this afternoon in the Dolman willing them to extend their winning ways - I could do with a little lifter this morning (curious headache this morning - can't think why)

95 mins and not a single shot on target.
All in all a good December period. A draw still give us 10 points from the last 4 games.

Great ball skill by Bell to get passed the left back. Great cross...

Great strength from Pring.

Just asking you to expand on that opinion. You suggested some of our players lacked thirst. Just asking which ones
As you've called me our on it..and having taken 10 mins to consider it.....thirst was a misplaced comment. Can't actually say (with any honesty) that any of our players lack thirst.

Which of our players lack thirst in your view ?
Joy of an opinion mate...you can express it or not.

Dumbele demonsates the strength / thirst I wish some of our players had. So strong....

Eh? He's indisputably had a poor first half, aren't we allowed to say that?
I agree he has been poor in the first half (when compared to the last game) - although some may take your comments as "normal service resumed" - as he has been pretty poor until recently.
We must give him an opportunity- until 60 mins to try and create something - if he was to score he will come alive like the mop and bucket in Fantasia!

This feels very familiar territory for us vs. Birmingham.
Normally we lose 1-0 to a 70th min headed corner.
You're not supposed to jinx it.

I’m getting a little nervy when Max is passing around the back. Pitch isn’t for it.
This makes me incredibly nervous. Would be awful to lose a winning run due to a misplaced pass...

Not entirely happy with us playing about with it in such close proximity of Brum players....
Pring unlucky not to get there first....

Need to turn possession into opportunity.....

I know that (having been paying by DD for the last 7 years) I should now be across when the payments are from and to....but I'm not.
Can Someone please let me know when they finish - is it end of Feb or end of Mar?
Thanks in advance!
(Opting to pay the whole cost for the three season cards this year when renewing!)

I remember Phil Alexander suggesting that the Lansdowns may well be willing to crack open the nest egg in a Jan window if they felt one season we were in a position to get top 6.
It's possible we could be in and around the top 6 when the window opens. That 6th place is achievable imo. So maybe they will go for it? But of course the money needs to be spent wisely.
Agree with this post - the placement of us in the league will also attract better players than if we were wallowing in mid-table mediocrity (which is still a possibility if we have a couple of bumps in the road).
Must be positive - now need to make AG a fortress (post Brum away of course - not an easy questions to answer) - onwards and updwards (with a large dose of "feet on the floor".

He still has a thirst - never gave up on the ball - still had it all to do when he entered the box and controlled it.
Passed it past the keeper (like it was never in doubt) - Good to see him among the goals.
He has had a fair amount of stick about form on here (no smoke without fire etc) but he has proven that he can still offer something if the chance arrives....
He will remain a firm favourite of mine in years to come - he has been involved in so many good moments - well done Andi!

What a great set of results against good sides.
Agree, and we should definitely enjoy this run - the challenge will be when we face teams at the bottom (the ones we should beat) - will we turn up - too often in the past we have dropped points after wins against better teams - Only time will tell.
Good demonstration of what is possible with this team against an "in form" team - Lets build and be better - looking forward to getting a few injured players back in the running for places.

By May it’ll be 16 years since our last play off final, we’re definitely due another.
Yep, only because the last time we were promoted it was automatic!
Clearly, I am not saying that we are contenders for promotion (either automatic or via the playoffs) - just want to watch some good football (which was evidenced today - despite a couple of slack play.
I was not impressed with the NP sacking / LM appointment - I wish LM all the very best - despite being fat already - i'd quite happily take a large slice of humble pie toward the end of the season.
On to the next game (another team we have a poor away record with) - lets take it a game at a time.
Well done lads - Made my Christmas this year!

Should be 4!
