  1. Based on today's game and putting the result to one side how many of the Huddersfield players would you sign based on their individual performance?
  2. It depends whether your chairman is happy with what he is watching or if he wants change the fans are irrelevant
  3. Ask yourself the following, are you seeing any progression both tactically and with the style of football you are watching since Pearson took over as everything can't be blamed on the players you currently have in your squad aren't good enough as a younger manager with fresh ideas may get more out of the current bunch.
  4. Sorry to hear your sad loss life can be so cruel
  5. I had Covid six weeks ago whilst double vaccinated, I'm a reasonably fit & healthy guy and was really rough and had 3 weeks off of work and was nowhere ready to go back to work after ten days and was later told that I have long Covid which can take months before you get back to normal. I've since had my booster and was pretty rough with that as well.
  6. A string of fixtures across other competitions have also been postponed. QPR vs Swansea - Saturday December 18, Championship Reading vs Luton - Saturday December 18, Championship Millwall vs Preston - Saturday December 18, Championship Sheffield Wednesday vs Accrington - Saturday December 18, League One Gillingham vs Crewe - Saturday December 18, League One Crawley vs Oldham - Saturday December 18, League Two Barrow vs Northampton - Saturday December 18, League Two Swindon v Wallsall - Saturday December 18, League Two
  7. Many thanks and although your prices are higher you're getting a much better football experience with the facilities you have to offer plus a bigger game due to what stage of the completion you were playing in.
  8. Fair point you make. There's also the TV revenue plus over 10,000+ for the next couple of home games before the tie to add extra funds.
  9. Not gone down too well here but I guess the new owner wants to claw some money back.
  10. Many thanks, it's just been announed that the Swindon v Man City tickets for home fans are £35 so was trying to compare even though you have much better facilities and that the games were in them efl cup and at a later stage in the competition.
  11. Can you guys remember how much you payed to watch the cup games against Man City & United at the gate?
  12. It makes you wonder how he has fathered so many kids, imagine if you were a woman and you had that slob laying on you!
  13. He has previously and told him that I have been too Ashton Gate a few times and have a couple friends that are City fans....end of conversation ?
  14. This one is a van driver moonlighting upto Swindon on Saturdays keeping a low profile from fellow Bristolians!
  15. We've had our much documented problems on and off the pitch with poisonous Power but at least we can see things going in the right direction now that we have a decent owner but Rovers seem to have stagnated or gone backwards since becoming the sixth richest club in the football league!
  16. I'll put that to him when I see him next!
  17. It baffled me when he was spurting out that rubbish and I didn't want to hurt his feelings and the ironic thing is he actually goes to most of their home games and seems content with what is happening there.
  18. What got me was how serious he was and that he believed everything he was telling me!
  19. I bumped into a Gashead this morning from Bristol and he said " they're by far the biggest club in league 2 with their huge fanbase and potential and that Barton is the right man for the job" I was speechless, smiled and changed the topic of conversation.
  20. Talking more garbage as usual and if there are no good teams in Div 4 why is he managing in it. At one stage he's more concerned how his looks!
  21. I work strange shifts so would have missed too many games to justify a season ticket. Man City fans moaning about the kick off time as there are no trains back after the game.
  22. It's around 14,500 if you leave the corner of the Stratton bank empty but there talk that they may give City the whole end which would then make it around 15,000 which we got in a pre season against Liverpool a few seasons ago. What's ironic is you guys would get more tickets if we played you in a league game than Man City will get for this match if they get 15% of the capacity.
  23. Five of them will have Covid, three will be injured and two of them suspended but the goalkeeper should be fit?
  24. I'm really happy and hoping that city play quite a few young players along with a few named ones as once they get in the groove it could end up embarrassing but hopefully we at least give a good account of ourselves. i will be really lucky to get a spare ticket as season ticket holders, mini season ticket purchasers (a bundle of six games) and supporters that have been to the most home games with the highest amount of points will be given priority which is fair enough.
