I know I am going to get shot down. Don’t care. Just love the Club and want the best for it. Clearly not going to happen. Best manager we have employed since Alan Dicks in terms of understanding what’s required to get promoted and what awaits should we ever achieve this. If Pearson can’t come back as Director of football.   We all know  the club don’t want him and he would tell us where to go   So the question is who could we appoint that could do this job?

I agree but it won't happen with these clowns.

Because they don't like him. He's too popular.

They didn't need to make him DOF.

All they had to do was nothing.

    B******s.

I think they don't like him because he pointed out a few home truths.

I posted earlier that my dream would be for new ownership & them to appoint Nige as DOF. All his good work is quickly unravelling.

It is pretty clear they fell out with Nige. I really like Nige but it's not uncommon for him to fall out with his employer. Lansdown struggles with "spikey" types. It was an accident waiting to happen really (but we're fortunate Nige got us in much better shape before it did).

Agreed but sadly I feel the majority of the good work done by Nige will all fall apart with the clowns we have in power.

My dream would be new owners & for them to reinstate Nige as DOF

But that is in the territory of “if the dog (no pun!!) had stopped for a shit, it wouldn’t have won the race” though isn’t it!

And I think that if NP had been backed instead of being stabbed in the back we would all have been a little more positive but that's only mho .

We looked tired, slow, leaden of foot, unbalanced, and devoid of proper movement to create passing opportunities, especially in the last two thirds

A shambles performance devoid of ideas on how to change things.

Poor personal performances, poor selection imo, and poor tactical creativity.

QPR are one of the worst sides in the division.

    We looked even worse today.

That for me says it all for me. Yes, a disappointing but not totally unexpected result considering our record against the teams fighting for existence in our league!

  6. For what it's worth, IMO the financial support has been excellent and saved City embarrassment on several occasions, but I do wish they would take the back seat & leave it to the experts e.g., Gould, Alexander, Nige etc, etc. For the first time I can remember in my 65+yrs as a supporter we were on the right track, then possibly their faults were pointed out to them and the reaction was to sack someone who had got us through something which would have been beyond many.

I now feel their time is up as new responsible ownership :pray:that know something about the game is required .

For me, the issue with Cornick is that he strikes me as someone who operates best as a nuisance who puts himself about and draws the defence’s attention away from more composed attackers enabling them to get into more dangerous spaces. But the way we play doesn’t really lend itself to that.

We don’t get the forwards close enough to each other so, when Cornick distracts the defence, there is nobody to take advantage.

Not his fault and he works hard but I just don’t see him as a fit with how we’ve played under either manager.

    Another Matty Taylor ???
