  1. So do I mate, so do I. What a total **** up by SL & JL, both are ****ing clueless & didn't like their deficiencies pointed out by someone who is well above what they will ever become
  2. I meant to add that it will be interesting to see if "The Clueless" make finances available for the new man.
  3. Shell-shocked to see this news in Oz this morning. I just hope Nige had the opportunity to explain to SL & JL what clueless ****s they both are. Good luck where ever you go next Nige
  4. I understand the reasoning behind your post but I would prefer it to be about when SL leaves . My answer would then be - Anyone that loves the game/that knows the game & would employ NP & his team to finish the job they've started so well
  5. I'm beginning to wonder if it's possible that Nige has now had enough of the situation with SL & has now come out with his views on the situation to say "I'm available" to clubs that are in need of new management. I really do hope that isn't the case but there will be many clubs that will be watching this outcome.
  6. What like ****,***** & ****, my vocabulary is endless in those **** words
  7. It would appear to me that the majority can see what a top job NP & his staff have done under very difficult conditions. In my 65+ yrs as a supporter I don't think I've seen us in better hands & it appears that SL has turned his back on such an obvious opportunity to achieve. I know you have to be careful what you wish for but I'm now hoping SL gets out of this club, I appreciate what stability his finances have given us but his priorities are now totally out of whack imo
  8. Careful what you wish for Tone
  9. Ange Postecoglou could be worth a try, certainly wouldn't be any worse imo .
  10. Agreed.....................................................Another country

    Nige.

Is that you again Rudolf ???
  12. If only we knew how rare they'd become when Covid hit us.
  13. It looks as though many of us have so much in common besides our beloved Reds, it's heart warming to see the compassion & friendship on here from total strangers........................... Thankyou ALL United we stand
  14. You're welcome my friend, hang in there & you will get through with a mate like that, they're very special, they ask for nothing except friendship & give everything. Take care & stay safe mate?
  15. You won't regret it, incredible animals, I'd love another one but couldn't go through the heartache again but of course at my age it could be me leaving first. I just babysit the daughter & sons dogs now, a bit like grandkids just hand them back when they're naughty ?. Cheers mate, stay safe ?
  16. No I haven't but will make a point of doing so, I've read many books on dogs in war situations, Vietnam, bomb detection etc etc etc, they are all such incredible companions. It was the worst day of my life having to take my Shepherd to the vets the day we lost her, it's awful loosing close friends, family members etc but when you have to make that decision it really hits home very hard. In my previous post it was supposed to read "before they made it out of their teens", I'm guessing people understood anyway. Thanks for your input, stay safe mate
  17. It really is so sad to see that so many have had mental issues at some stage or another. I too went through a period where I thought I was better off out of it, I lost many mates in motorcycle accidents before they made their teens & honestly thought of ending my mental pain. I decided to come to Oz on my own & saw new outlooks in life that helped me over it, I'm in my mid 70's now & my only real worry is not being around long enough to do the things I want. I guess what I'm trying to say is that no matter how dark & deep your mental state becomes, things will improve if you give it a chance. My biggest help was a german shepherd that stuck by me through all my bad moments & I'm convinced she sensed my problems, she's long gone now but her memories continue to pick me up. Never give up & where there's a heartbeat there's hope
  18. Another thought just come to mind - Nige seemed quite miffed over the transfer window finishing the way it did, perhaps there's been a monumental fallout & Uncle Steve has backed Nige........................................................................ Sorry it's medication time. AS YOU WERE !!!
  19. That was my immediate thoughts also, perhaps a deal is imminent & he isn't part of the deal , all speculation until the facts come out, if they ever do !!!
  20. Been there done that & thankfully successful, 3 vertebrae fused & cage inserted, all as the last resort. Nige looks as though he's looked after himself better than I have so I hope he has a much simpler surgery planed. Good luck Nige ?
  21. But were they seen together in the same room
