  1. He's got it all sussed out, easy peasy!

Easy peasy my arse! I live in South Glos and certainly do NOT intend to pay a penny towards a new stadium for the sags. **** THAT!

They always want something for nothing that lot.

UWE will pull the plug soon anyway as they had alternative uses for that land before the court case, car parking I believe was mentioned.

  2. If UWE do that then yes in relation to the contract and the sale of the Memorial Stadium, but there could still be compo

From whom 29AR? As the methane snorters lost the case, I can't imagine they will see a bean. If anything, wouldn't they have to compensate UWE as well as cover S'bury's costs?

  3. I very much doubt it,

The reason for the loan isn't public knowledge but at a guess it was to cover running costs til the end of the season, there were a full time pro club at non-league level but still budgeting for league football,

The difference in terms of finances between the two leagues is massive, think prem and championship just on a much smaller scale

That makes perfect sense Monkeh but I thought the loan was taken in order to pay for the court case making it an associated cost? I'm probably wrong, as usual tbh.

  4. Typical delusional gashead. Lidl have applied for planning permission to build a store on the old Ford garage on Muller Road. As this is only approx 1/2 mile away, nobody is going to want to build a supermarket on Filton Avenue.

That rather blows what I was told out of the water then! Obviously more gas fuelled bulls**t. Quelle surprise.

Out of interest, would the Wonga loan be classed as 'associated costs' therefore paid by Sainsbury's if the gas win in court? If not, there must surely be a funding shortfall even if they did win?

  5. They expect to win but not get a full amount. The money will be spent on the Memorial Ground.

But then who knows, only the judge I guess.

I've been told, by a totally unreliable source (a gashead) that Aldi or Lidl are waiting to step in if Sainsbury's falls through. No idea if there's any truth in it, nor do I really give a s**t but said gashead (yes, there are still a few) seems confident that this is their plan 'B'.

  6. Likewise, don't forget you've been a league club for a month..

They really don't want to face us at the moment, they really don't!

    From the sag forum...

     dislike this.

The club tweeting that we were playing 'BCFC' must have worried a few.

They have also totally overlooked our excellent away record....

As for c*tys draw, Luton away, that's got home win written all over it.

    Utterly shot away!!
  7. Not just a share but the council have to supply it! Typical sag, always wanting something for nothing. A message for the bony gas bast**d, we don't need to share with your sorry shower as we have already got a decent ground and the council can't help you as it doesn't benefit both clubs. C'mon Sainsbury's!
