Yup - Helen Chamberlain in her prime made Soccer AM the must watch show of the week. Lovejoy was brill I just reckon Helen got fed up with being there for so long, it did kinda show some weeks. But on her day she made it probably the best footy show of all time. Great performer, with good knowledge and razor sharp banter. Top Tekkers!

Fact of the day. When I lived in Bermuda, the aquarium was touted as a tourist attraction. Imagine my surprise (and assorted cruise liner passengers) to discover it didn't contain a single fish whatsoever. A few paintings and a hole in the floor. You had to look in the hole to see the fish. Sadly the tide was out so all that was there was a bit of rock. I went back home, wandered down to the tiny beach (through the islands hard waste dump) which we had appropriated, and took our newly acquired catamaran out. I say newly acquired - it had been moored somewhere and a storm dumped it up into the Palm trees on the 20m long beach. It sat there for a year or more until we got it down. It's probably still tied to the palm tree where we left it when our contracts finished. Funny old place is Bermuda. The do like our Shaun though. He coaches over there now and again.

Yet another one who cannot distinguish between the 225,000,000 quid spent on "Bristol City" over 20+ years, and the 750,000,000 quid the Lansdowns will make when they sell the ground, land, offices and shops. Oh and the hotels, and apartments and houses on the ex-brownland site.... The Lansdown family will walk away from their football adventure with a huge profit made on the land at AG and AV. Do you realise that SL is the 998th richest man on Planet Earth? Or to put it simply - he makes more in investment income in 6 months than he has spent on all the Bristol sport entities on 20 yrs. For him its the equivalent of us finding a 50p coin down the back of the sofa! He's made more 'supplying clean water' to a tiny bunch of people in Botswana (via "finding" precious gemstone deposits whilst "searching" for this easy-to-find-water) than he has spent on this sports hobby of his. I don't know how many times people have to repeat - we are paying rent to Lansdown to play in a stadium we used to own, and when all is sold (which has come a huge cropper just recently btw) SL will walk away quids in.

Are you honestly suggesting that inside a team dressing room everyone didn't have some idea about everyone else? Most people know a wrong 'un. So you think that on a group night out, other WAGS and players didn't see bruises on Harriet and thought 'I bet Masons put one on her'. This wasn't a one off mate - do it once and they do it again.
