  1. I've noticed on the OS game preview that you can have your blood pressure checked until 3.00pm but nothing at half time or full time!
  2. It will be "back where they belong"!
  3. The FA serm have a habit for when the rules count!
  4. Chelsea 1 - 0 down to an own goal!
  5. Was our last refund the 6 - 0 against Preston?
  6. Or are there still occaisions where the referee doesn't want any input from from his or her linespeople? And yes I know they talk to each other all the time which in it's way makes some decisions all the more inexplicable.
  7. Would.make it very difficult to turn down one appeal for a penalty and then give another one later for a similar offence if a reason was given for the first incident. What I can't understand sometimes as in the Bell foul just outside the area why the linesman on that side couldn't have drawn attention to it?
  8. Was it Blackpool last season when one of their players may or may not have had his heels clipped on one side of the area and finally collapsed when he reached the other side? Needless to say they were awarded a penalty! ?
  9. Could it show live updates on the officials' performance through a link to otib? ?
  10. Did David Moyes score one against Mansfield?
  11. I feel for Craig Pawson. The pressure on him to award a penalty or two to Manchester United this afternoon. Still 0 - 0 on 70 minutes.
  12. Are there a number of overs left or is it til 5.00?
  13. Who was the other manager that couldn't get us out of league one?
  14. Scott was booked before being substituted, I just asked a reasonable question!
  15. Referee probably thought it would spoil the game if he sent one of their players off in the first half! ?
  16. Can I refer you to otibs other thread??
  17. There used to be a "myth"? that sir Alex gradually narrowed the selection of referees that he would tolerate at Old Trafford? Also referees should move away from this familiarity with players, they're not mates or going for a drink with them afterwards? In Sunak's words professionalism and integrity should play a part and take away any stigma of favouritism.
  18. As the Manchester ship canal wasn't completed until 1893 there probably weren't alot of slave ships directly connected with Manchester. However if the connection is the use of slaves in the production of cotton which was then sent to Manchester then perhaps we should be looking at alternative clothing materials? Seriously though many civic buildings were built and family wealth was created from the slave trade and it's too easy as a diversion to concentrate on the likes of Bristol rather than admitting that cities and estates all over the country benefitted.
