  1. Holy crap! All joking aside, I wish the gashead well. It's a game after all.
  2. You missed 'all being well' off the end potw.
  3. That is brilliant! They've got one 'player' that looks like a down and out meth head and could have used anyone else for that pic but, no, not r*vers! Another beauty...
  4. I see Henbury plum is at it again. Some joker posted on facebook that they would sell their City v Man Utd ticket for £1,000,000 (that's ONE MILLION POUNDS) and numbnuts started a thread criticising City fans saying they would never do that as they're 'faithful and true' (unless they're playing sh1t when they don't bother). He fell for a blatant wind up! Thick prat. Is the guy ill or just very, very stupid to be that gullible? I understand delusion but this is off the scale IMHO. Pillock!
  5. Seventhly, it's the gas, what did you expect?
  6. I was sent a link to a match vlog from a Rotherham supporter whose dad works at my place. I sat and watched it and thought my broadband had died as it was so slllloooooooowwwwww. It was like a shit football video on frame by frame. You know the sort where a nine year old is waiting for the ball to stop before kicking it, just slower. Utter garbage. Championship at the Mem, my arse!
  7. 2,000 under their previously quoted break even figure (although that's gone up to more than their capacity IIRC) at say £15, that's nearly a whole Tilson they lost on Saturday!
  8. Plus, they can't sack him for speaking out as the fans love him. He's playing them as much as the board are playing the fans. All good stuff! UP THE CITY!!
  9. That's where it came from!! Thanks James.
  10. To me, that came across as a right 'pop' at WAQ TBH. It seemed to be a 'I can't make a silk purse out of a cows ear' to me. I would imagine WAQ won't like it at all. The thing that grinds my gears is the 'how successful they've been for 3 years' crap! No, if you hadn't been utter shite beforehand, you wouldn't have dropped out of the league and all you've done is bring a lower league 1 / league 2 club back to their supposed proper position. Hardly successful, more righting the abject crap that went on beforehand. They blatantly have problems, big problems and it all comes down to financial backing, or in their case the total lack of it. 'See you in Waitrose? More likely sat outside rattling a tin. Hey ho, up the City!
  11. If he's saying 'total spend', the bloke's obviously talking utter bollocks then GC. No change there then! Looks that way. Good innit?
  12. Is there a poundland on Oxford St then?
  13. We gave them £300K for Matty though so maybe it's a net spend of £135K. We've spent loads but have a very low net spend taking into account monies received. We might even be in profit on transfers for all I know. What I do know is they are absolutely shite, want 4 Championship players, a cat 2 training academy and a new stadium even though they haven't got a farthing to scratch their arses with. There's a slight flaw in their plan TBH.
  14. Exactly, some of us were born in 1967.
  15. I see they're banging on about Billy Bodin on slagchat again. Is he actually any good / good enough for the Championship? Apart from their drivel, I've never heard of him but he plays in a problem position for us and with COD's injury etc, is he worth a punt or not?
  16. Who's Stevelee Johntrill then? Is he related to Leevie Cottson by any chance? They can't even get the words out FFS!
  17. Holy shit, that's some forehead top right! Tefal (remember the advert) and the Horfield inbreds?
  18. I don't think it's even a quarter any more Graham. I live in a supposedly 'gas' area (BS30) and all the kids wear our red and white nowadays, I rarely see a blue rag. The gashead's concern is genuine IMHO and if I were one of them ( yeuch!!), it would be of great concern. Luckily I'm a red so it's brilliant!
  19. Metal tent pegs? Flash git! I didn't get to where I am today by using cheap wooden tent pegs'!
  20. Liking this one... 'The thing that worries me more than anything else is the lack of younger people down the Rovers. Even in Little Stoke & Patchway, which have always been Rovers strongholds, you see more and more younger people wearing City shirts.'
  21. Wouldn't the original purchase count as part of that £12M as well as repaying the previous board? essentially, they've put new curtains up and paid some bloke with a big Vax to clean the carpets.
  22. I would have guessed that those that would have gone would have been personally wealthier IF they HAD made the trip, if you get my drift.
