I don't think it's even a quarter any more Graham. I live in a supposedly 'gas' area (BS30) and all the kids wear our red and white nowadays, I rarely see a blue rag. I had a couple of beers with a couple of diehard gas yesterday evening and they were scathing of their performance. One said Wimbledon should have had 6 while the other walked out after the third as he was so fed up. After taking the piss mercilessly as they are 'diehard' yet one left early, I asked what had changed. Their answer was that the players don't seem to care any more and the whole place has been depressed since the UWE fall through. They are dreading the point where the dog botherer leaves but they think it's only a matter of time. They are convinced all is not well behind the scenes. Their other problem, which they openly admitted, is that we're doing well while they think, unless things change, that they could well be relegated. As i'm sure you can imagine, my beers tasted extremely sweet after hearing their views! I managed to look smugly concerned though which probably wound them up even more.

Can you hear the tote end boys sing by all accounts, the answer being NO! Happy with a point today against a strong Wednesday side.

They wouldn't stand a snowball in hell's chance in the Championship! They're a reasonably (not greatly) followed L1 / L2 club with antiquated non league facilities and a couple of tents. Championship my arse!

Has anyone noticed that both Bristol cubs are away up North on the 25th? We're at Hull while they're at Blackburn. Not a good move IMHO. I appreciate we'll be on the M1 while they'll be on the M6 but the M5 could be awkward.

They're nowhere near a top 6 league 1 club TBH maybe not even a top 6 league 2 club. Wigan, Blackburn, Charlton, MK (spit) Dons, Bradford, Doncaster, Plymouth, Pompey, Shrewsbury (stadium) and Rotherham are literally miles ahead of them in terms of the respective club and infrastrucure, the things needed to succeed. In L2, I would suggest Coventry City, Notts County, Port Vale, Luton town, Chesterfield, Grimsby, possibly Exeter (with their rebuild), Swindown and Wycombe are better set than them. Their fans should be happy to be where they are as it's way above their station TBH.

If he keeps having little digs at the club infrastructure and the lack of backing, they will have to act or lose serious face, not that they'll be too bothered when they sail off into the sunset with their £10M soon.
