  1. Only '100' PSR? These are gasheads we're talking about. Surely it's 1 - 45,000?
  2. Very cleverly worded CM, what he actually meant was 'as soon as we are satisfied everything is in place, I will leave taking my money and the ground this shithole is built on with me and stuff this crappy little club right up'!
  3. Nice on Glyn, this is a belter.... ' I like the fact that we could be on similar footings and this will hopefully lead to closer league positions. Then the colour in the shape of rivalry will once again be a daily occurrence as it used to be. A future local derby with 35,000? Mouth watering. I really hope future generations of Bristolian's will not have to leave their city to see top flight football.'
  4. Great win boys. Those 2 Tomlin free kicks had me sweating though. Against a Warnock side it's never going to be pretty but we beat a decent side today. COD MOTM again, what a player he's becoming!! Well done boys!!
  5. Gas hole wants us in the 2nd round. Erm, the fact they're out and we don't enter until the 3rd round seems beyond his comprehension. Thick gas ****t! Stead Stead will tear you apart again. I really hope the gash fans were giving him stick, that would be sooooo sweet!
  6. A woman, pregnant with triplets, was caught in the crossfire at a bank robbery and shot 3 times in the stomach. The Doctor, said it was too risky to operate and chose to leave the bullets in. 16 years later one of the girl triplets went crying to her mum. She asked what was wrong. The girl said: "I was peeing and a bullet came out." So her mum told her what happened 16 years earlier. The nextday the same thing happened with the other girl triplet. So her mum told her the same story about the bank robbery. The day after, the boy triplet goes crying to his mum. "Let me guess" she says, "You were peeing and a bullet came out?!" "No..." Replied the boy "I was having a wnak and shot the dog."
  7. That's the excuse for their shite support tonight sorted then!
  8. They 'stopped funding it' FFS, we didn't 'steal' anything, it wasn't theirs to have stolen. What a wnaker!! He's got more chance of building a stadium made of gold than he has of taking Bristol CITY ladies back to the hovel.
  9. So, where's the benefit to City then Bert? The only club to benefit from your plan is rovers as far as I can see. With all possible due respect, absolutely no way! Your club tried to kill us off in 1982 and some of us still remember that vividly. If there was a benefit to City it would be worth a debate but your plan essentially means our owner subsidising your club. No way is that going to happen.
  10. He was in Yahteh at the same time as well, damned impressive!
  11. That's what I was implying Rob, the return on his outlay is guaranteed. Very clever.
  12. Isn't what's happening on there precisely what WAQ is doing?
  13. Crikey Monkeh, that's some claim, not that I doubt you at all as it makes sense. Essentially then, WAQ gets the land for nothing as he, himself has bankrupted the rovers using his own money and is charging them 6% for the privilege? All he's put in is secured against the asset (the land) so he loses absolutely nothing? In fact, he makes 6% interest PA and ends up owning the land? That's brilliant to be fair!
  14. So, if there's naff all equity left in the Mem due to the proven £10M charge, the fake sheik is gonna have to stump up the price of any new development / stadium plus the £10M? He's risked absolutely £0.00 thus far so I can't see him suddenly finding £50M down the back of the couch. Why would their fans expect him to suddenly start risking his own money now when he hasn't spent anything yet that he isn't guaranteed to get back? They really are in a dark place aren't they? Ah well, I shan't be losing any sleep over it.
  15. Crikey, that's the first time I have seen proof of the £10M charge against the Mem. They really are in deep sh1t aren't they?
  16. @bert tann, you put your point across very eloquently, well done for that, but, I'm in total agreement with Maesknoll Red. I would be livid if we so much as lent you a toilet roll let alone what you propose! I remember 1982 and your lot stopping the council helping us so you could get your hands on the Gate by killing us off. Sorry Bert, it's a big fat 'NO' from me.
  17. A nice comment from the Fulham forum among the 'they're nothing special' posts.... 'Bristol were brilliant tonight and fully deserved their victory. I applaud them for illustrating what attractive football is, and in fact they made me think of our squad in the second half of last year. They were strong, fluid, and didn't need many chances to score a goal. They didn't time waste and they were staunch in defense. I hope they go far this year. Best team we've seen all year.'
  18. My concern with that team is keeping the ball up top if and when we're under pressure. Bobby isn't the hold up type so the ball could keep coming back at the defence. Once Milan comes on, no problem but our clearances to Bobby will have to be very accurate.
  19. Just had a look at the video of the players on the pitch from the BCFC site and I can't see Bakes there at all.
  20. Bloody conference calls! 'It will only take an hour', 3 bastard hours!!!! No Craven cottage for me then. COME ON CITY!!
  21. Great article Havana, Craven cottage isn't anything special as a stadium per se but it's one everyone, myself included, seems to enjoy visiting. It's a very pleasant place to be, picturesque, friendly home fans and right on the river. As I said, the ground isn't all that but it's an away day I would highly recommend. Work commitments allowing, I will head up the M4 this afternoon hoping to see another win for the mighty reds. 1-2, Flint and Bobby. COYR
  22. So they'll sign a deal which gives r*vers a new ground but none of the benefits that come with that? Crack on then!
