Your club tried to kill us off in 1982 and some of us still remember that vividly. If there was a benefit to City it would be worth a debate but your plan essentially means our owner subsidising your club. No way is that going to happen.

Essentially then, WAQ gets the land for nothing as he, himself has bankrupted the rovers using his own money and is charging them 6% for the privilege? All he's put in is secured against the asset (the land) so he loses absolutely nothing? In fact, he makes 6% interest PA and ends up owning the land? That's brilliant to be fair!

So, if there's naff all equity left in the Mem due to the proven £10M charge, the fake sheik is gonna have to stump up the price of any new development / stadium plus the £10M? He's risked absolutely £0.00 thus far so I can't see him suddenly finding £50M down the back of the couch. I would be livid if we so much as lent you a toilet roll let alone what you propose! I remember 1982 and your lot stopping the council helping us so you could get your hands on the Gate by killing us off. Sorry Bert, it's a big fat 'NO' from me.

A nice comment from the Fulham forum among the 'they're nothing special' posts.... 'Bristol were brilliant tonight and fully deserved their victory. I applaud them for illustrating what attractive football is, and in fact they made me think of our squad in the second half of last year. They were strong, fluid, and didn't need many chances to score a goal. They didn't time waste and they were staunch in defense. I hope they go far this year. Best team we've seen all year.'

My concern with that team is keeping the ball up top if and when we're under pressure. Bobby isn't the hold up type so the ball could keep coming back at the defence. Once Milan comes on, no problem but our clearances to Bobby will have to be very accurate.

Just had a look at the video of the players on the pitch from the BCFC site and I can't see Bakes there at all.

Great article Havana, Craven cottage isn't anything special as a stadium per se but it's one everyone, myself included, seems to enjoy visiting. It's a very pleasant place to be, picturesque, friendly home fans and right on the river. As I said, the ground isn't all that but it's an away day I would highly recommend. Work commitments allowing, I will head up the M4 this afternoon hoping to see another win for the mighty reds. 1-2, Flint and Bobby. COYR
