Oxford probably a bigger club than the Gas.

Amazingly there's one thing the gas have over Oxford and that is a 4 sided stadium.

But I agree I'd say Oxford are a bigger club.

In terms of league one I'd say rovers are on equal footing or a bigger club then Accrington, Crewe, Rochdale, Lincoln, Shrewsbury and Burton Albion.

Along with this fixation they have of getting fans of other clubs to say they love them more than us.

Just very needy I suppose - probably didn`t get much love as children.

I never get the fixation of having other fans of other clubs say they love them more then us.

If a fan doesn't like us because we're Bristol City and we're x, y and z then so be it, I'm sure we all have clubs we hate because of x, y and z but I'm not going to say for example "oh I love Sheffield United because I hate Sheffield Wednesday."

The fixation on "Sir Dean Windass" as well can only imagine them rubbing one out if he shows up when Hull are in town.

Make you quite right about Bournemouth- saw this Tweet by Kieran Maguire about their 2018/19 accounts.

Total Player Costs- that'd be Wages + Amortisation- 112% of Turnover.

All that while in the PL- in excess of 100% of turnover! ?

I'll lazily assume that £112 in player costs per £100 in income is equating to 112% of income- but FFP trouble ahead?

Howe has left today, wonder if these two are linked...?

Sure they'll raise transfer income, sure their wages will overall come down and sure there will be Covid related exclusions- but is it enough?

Bournemouth have quite a few players other teams want. Ake to man City for £40m, Kelly is wanted by Liverpool that'll probably be £15m+, Wilson wants to leave. King and Lerma will get offers. Begovic will probably leave as well, Rico has interested parties.

They shouldn't have too much of a problem with FFP given the 2019-20 and 20-21 seasons are combined into one block for FFP

  4. I reckon they'll be midtable next season, shouldn't be troubled by relegation but won't be troubling the playoffs.

Gas logic says they are coming for us because they've made some good signing on paper but they need to get by Wigan, Charlton, Hull (if they somehow get their act together), Sunderland, Ipswich, Peterborough, Doncaster, Portsmouth, Plymouth and Oxford.

I've said it before but the gap between league one and the championship is growing and I expect it'll be the same few teams that fight it out for promotion/play offs. One good season may get you up but you need a fair bit of luck and investment to stay up.

Looks like he’ll fit in well with all the other Billy Bullshitters at the Mem.

Unless of course the capacity of Tentsville has suddenly dropped to 7000?

Well by gas logic 7,000 is probably dull capacity for them because they always sell out and have the best support in Bristol.

.... We only take 1,000 regularly to away games ...

No exactly what the stats say.

I've also attached the highest attendances at the tent shop and Ashton Gate (away includes the total attendance so I've not shown this).

They want to build a 20,000 - 30,000 capacity stadium yet since 2017 they've only gone over an attendance of 10,000 5 times.

Some rovers fans are lovely (Miah for one) but there is a gap between us and them and unless Wael is prepared to invest hard like Lansdown that Gap will remain.
