He’s in a position way over his head. It’s ridiculous really
Ridiculous. And yet thoroughly, depressingly predictable.
The Lansdowns track record favouring familiarity over capability is astounding when you stop to think about it.
I'm still frequently baffled thinking how was SL so successful in business with that kind of decision making

Nick carle, Marvin elliot and mickey Bell (in their prime) please!

The Lansdown looked very sparse (the stand, not his coffers)

Thanks, Will give it a listen.
Have you guys figured out a system to avoid talking over one another yet? I enjoy the podcasts content, but sometimes it's delivery is really detrimental

You know the injury crisis has gotten bad when we've resorted to signing the claverham gimp

I reckon I've got more chance of getting minutes in Bristol City league match than Mehmeti has.
Another injury or 2 and you're in there mate. Bring your boots on Saturday eh

The subject of leaving early is well documented on here, but...
Does anyone know how late you can get a ticket after k.o (online or in the ticket office), and still get into the game?
I'm having to travel back to Bristol on Wednesday night, and will be cutting it fine

FIVE of the twelve weekend fixtures will be live on Sky, spread over Friday/Saturday/Sunday/Monday.
Probably in the minority with this, but I wouldn't mind a few more Fri night games. It's a good way to see off a week of work

Best moment of the match for me, even got the grumpy old bugger next to me on his feet (for the first time since korey sank United in 2017)

The vast majority who have replied to this thread are in agreement it was a very good save, not sure why you think he's getting pelters as he's not,
I made the mistake of reading Facebook comments earlier, he's definitely getting pelters.
Social media turns out to be full of over the top reactions, who'd have thought it?!

Was sat right behind it, it was an incredible save.
But it's also another stick to beat cornick with for some (well, many it seems)

I remember his first girl for City … preseason at Ashton and Backwell , I was on the line that day !!
Having grown up in that neck of the woods, I know a few people who had their first girl on those playing fields

Isn't a problem that we lack a bit of craft in midfield?
I feel like we've been saying this for years. Thats not a dig at you, it's just quite a depressing realisation.
Some things are worth investing in quality, and a midfield "heartbeat" for the team is worth loosening the purse strings for I'd say

Now that Scott looks as though he is finally moving on, it’s time to start rating Vyner as our most important and consistent player.
Most consistent? Possibly
Most important? Not so sure about that.
We've been crying out for someone to dictate the game in midfield for years. If we now have that person (in Knight or Naismith), then that's our most important player

Nearly 5k?!?!
A (Forest supporting) mate did the same thing at the City Ground a couple of years back and it was definitely under 100 quid per player.
Seemed pretty reasonable at that price and something I could imagine a fair few fans would be up for
I could definitely picture myself, in front of the south stand, shanking one over the bar from 4 yards out

Certainly hope that's the correct interpretation, rather than that there is a player there that for whatever reason didn't show up here.
6 long years is more than enough time for a player to show themselves.
One of the most frustrating city players I can remember (not worst, but most frustrating)

I like that the Alex Scott Signed Photo is “coming soon”.
I reckon by the time it’s available he won’t even be our player!!Bit cynical mate. I'm made up with my Wayne Allison pic that's just arrived

Anyone got a stream for it?

One can only assume that Ashtons mirror is going to see a lot of action this bank holiday, both snorting and w*nking action

Well if Ian Gay will insist on giving him advice throughout the game, it's not surprising that Nigel should react.
Unrealistic scenario... Man City were playing a couple of hours later so Pep would have been seeking ian's advice at the time in question

I reckon he is the ******* child of Callum O'dowda and Nicolas Eliason Not the best we've seen him today but exciting watch. Hoping for an increase in end product.
Things i never thought I'd read... O'dowda and exciting in the same sentence.
Mehmeti got me out of my seat more in his first 6 games than o'dowda did in his whole 6 years.
As mentioned elsewhere, if Mehmeti learns effective decision making, he'll be a serious threat for us

Karma. I will never forget that game with Wade Elliott being sent off in the first minute and everything that went on thereafter, the sense of injustice, the wild home celebrations like they've won the league, swindle players celebrating in front of the away fans - pretty inciteful, that cock chairman of there's, that odious captain giving it large who bottled out of the return match. Yes; you could say my general dislike of them grew to new levels that night.
The return game was amazing... players up for it, the crowd even more so and under the lights too.
One of the few times in recent memory that I've genuinely thought that the Gate was an intimidating place to come to. I'd say the Swindon players felt that too judging by the scoreline! Great times

The rest of the rest defensive line had clawed their way up, whilst he was left a whisker deeper... allowing our attack to paw forward.
