Was anything announced? I live in Nottingham, and would like to know if I can POTD. Can't find anything either way on our site or theirs.
I might be selling a ticket. A mate is ill so his ticket would be available if he bails, will find out tomorrow
I'll be drinking near the ground from 1ish

Good pod, it's good to hear some wider discussion points around the off the pitch considerations at the Gate.
Neils an excellent addition, not being as negative as others and not afraid to challenge Ian
Just one question though... is your floor damaged from all the names Ian kept dropping?!

Andi also played 90 pretty much on one leg from about 43rd minute
Why did he play 133 minutes? He couldve stopped after 93

Exactly this. I don't think for one minute the bloke is taking to the pitch and deliberately being bad.
COD is a person with a family and friends and so ******* what if he appears to be not good enough to play for the club?
Personal insults about being a "pussy" etc were being correctly slated when it was applied to Max last week. I see no reason why the same shouldn't apply to COD.
I'll respond seeing as I was the one who used that phrase. I did so for comedic effect as I had a few pints on board, perhaps not the most sensitive of descriptions but my reasons for saying it are just.
If I rephrased it as: a lack of willingness to used aggression to gain a competitive edge, then I think it is legitimate criticism of a well paid, longstanding employee who is underperforming.
It is frustrating beyond belief.

Was trying to come up with a fair and articulate description, but i have to say that I just think that O'dowda is a pussy.
He is taller than me, more athletic than me and more skillful than me. But, after watching him play for 6 seasons, I would not have any concerns at all about going into a 50:50 with him.
How any professional player at this level can be so devoid of aggression is baffling

Been here 6 years. That's approximately half of a footballers entire career, and most fans can only recall a single game that he has significantly impacted (positively) in that time... that says all you need to know!

If the Bristol Post is predicting snow I'd imagine you won't even end up needing your big coat on.
They love using the weather for clickbait

Away allocation only 2.4K ?? Cardiff sold out quite quickly apparently as they think this ticket may be in the criteria fora Liverpool cup one
Are they still not allowed into sporting venues due to covid over there? I believe lots of Welsh clubs have been travelling away in decent numbers recently as a result.
Feels like a recipe for having Cardiff fans in the home ends to be honest

If semenyo is brimming with confidence as everyone says, I'm looking forward to seeing him vs Flint next weekend

Does anyone know if this game is due to be televised?

They won’t put another one in Ashton Gate. As far as boy Jon is concerned it’s been an unmitigated disaster as far as I’m aware.
Can u elaborate on why it's been a disaster?

Gbh is a silly call if you've ever played amateur football! But that said, if one's a penalty, then the other definitely is.
Gutted for the 10 players that gave it all tonight

Thinking about its effect on football violence, I think it's too easy to say that the "surge" is due to people doing coke. It's an eye catching scaremongering story from a rag of a paper
I'd imagine a proper study would also cite a societal backdrop of the feelings of being cooped up in lockdown, the frustration of government restrictions and inadequate stewarding/ policing etc, as potential drivers too.
But obviously that would take some more effort by the 'journalist' than wiping a tissue around a toilet, and then creating a sensationalist headline.
Personally I blame it on the removal of the sheep pie

It was a gesture like that by city players in the early 90s to my sick brother, that first piqued my interest in city.
30+ years later I'm a long term season ticket holder and have sunk god knows how much time and Money into supporting them.
These gestures really make a difference, so I'm glad the club still put these efforts in

I know it's not always been the case, but the fans have really been pulling the team across the line in the last 3 home games. Makes I proud, long may it continue

Don't think we need seats but some shelves to put your beer whilst attacking the pie would be good
No need mate, city solved that particular conundrum by making the pies inedible this season

I want Nige to work. My concern is that we are living on the fact he’s done it once before in getting Leicester out the Championship. But then you could say Hollowhead got a team out as well.
2 things I hate.
Players are used to managers on the touch line barking instructions or advising them. So why sit in the stands?
Corners, why do we bring all our players back when it only leads to clearing it and then an easy move for the opposition to attack straight away.Add throw ins to your list as well mate, guaranteed way for us to surrender possession. Its F*cking amateur

We are a mess, players like Wells, Palmer, Kalas, DaSilva who are up there as our highest wage earners and not pulling their weight for their wages. Honestly apart from maybe Kalas I would happily see them all go. A waste of money.
We have players who are clearly past there best, Martin, Simpson and King.
Supplement them with promising but currently league 1 standard players such as Bakinson, Pring, Semenyo, Scott, Tanner, Atkinson.
Now add no creativity or dynamic forwards and wingers and you can see we badly need an injection of quality. Can't expect to release a dozen first players in the summer and it have no impact. Utterly wasted our wages on overpaid shite.
Nail on the head

The most fun at the Gate for a looooong time.
We Don't always show that kind of support (the same couldn't be seen at the forest game), but you could almost visibly see how the crowd dragged the team over the line today.
Just seen that the atmosphere at the end got a special mention on the Quest highlights

My mate had issues relating to the process of assigning tickets to friends and family list. After numerous error messages they just sacked it off in frustration.
It makes you wonder how many sales the club misses out on by having a poor system.
