I work all over the country, other fans see us as a bit of a nothing club, I can sort of see there point of view if you try and look at it from the outside, we never really threaten to do anything, we just sort of go round in circles
Supporting this club is so frustrating, so many lows and so few highs in my 40 years of watching. Destined to remain a footballing backwater.

Can't see it ever happening. If we get there, it will be striking it lucky via the playoffs. We're not set up to be challengers at this level, and we don't have the infrastructure to either.
Exactly as Steve mentioned in his nest egg interview our plan now seems to be striking lucky via play-offs.

Or even coach travel supported by the club? No? Oh well
Perhaps the club could offer free coach travel to one away game every season. Pick a January fixture and offer free travel to season card holders.

Both ends would only split fans let’s build a kop in the south stand it was always our end anyway so get out of dolman and join the singers in south stand next year
Yes, it would be great to extend safe standing across the South Stand. We may never get back what we had in the East End but I’m certain atmosphere would improve.
The flag displays etc. would look better across the whole of the stand rather than just in the corner.

We have JL and Tinnion as two of the highest ranking people at the club. Scary
And no CEO.

One of mine is playing OFTBC at the wrong time, they always play it too late. It should start as the teams come out not when they've lined up on the pitch.
Spot on. Downsy should be quiet and just play City related music 10 mins before kick off. At least we got rid of Seven Nation Army!
Another thing is why do we play RHCP over the video montage at the beginning of the match. Play a Bristol City related song!

Unfortunately it is a football club that has lost its identity. The Bristol Sport philosophy has a lot to do with this.
Yes, so many examples of not understanding the fans and traditions of the football club.

Liverpool and Man U games were great but having posters around the ground celebrating these games is tinpot.

Anyone know who heads up the merchandise etc. for City or as Fevs says is it split across the sporting group?

Got too much time on my hands tonight but just been on every other championship clubs shop website and every single one of them has a retro range .
I don’t know who’s head of the merchandise department at Bristol sport but it’s quite clear the football side of things is kept as basic as possible and the club couldn’t care less about having any variety for fans .
They put more effort into the coffee shop next door.

I think you are being a bit harsh on Manning at this stage BUT the rest of your post is bang on the money. The thought of Laurel and Hardy picking another manager if Manning fails is the stuff of nightmares.
Yep, early days for Manning but have no faith in the owners/board.

We'll be meeting with the club sometime in December, I will ask the questions
Thanks. It’s so bland from the outside. The club’s crest and name should be all over the place.

Whether it was the more relaxed setting or the comparison with those alongside him on the top table, I thought he displayed a quality that hadn’t been at the forefront to this point, charisma.
As good as someone can be from a technical aspect, personal skills are also key in a leader and I feel more confident in him than I did already before tonight.
Definitely agree on the charisma point. The only positive I took from the night was how well Liam came across.

I personally had a major issue with a steward on Saturday. I have contacted qpr and asked them to check CCTV cameras and the incident. I've also sent a complaint to the metropolitan police.
Can any of you supporters Tell me Is it normal practice now for stewards to demand your wallet? And then to rifle through it. Because i've never seen that in attending football in this country and abroad for over fifty five years.
And when with a fellow city fan witness, we went to a Metropolitan Police officer. His view was if I didn't like it. Don't go in, but after spending 100 pounds on a match ticket and train ticket. That wasn't an option. I have been to this ground many times but we'll never go again. Did anyone else have this experience with the stewards? Could they please let me know so I can inform queens park rangers, Reference my complaint..
I had my wallet checked also.

Looking forward to this one. Sad to see Nigel go but start of a new era tomorrow. Let’s get behind the boys and bring home the 3 points!

Good debate regarding Nigel’s comments yesterday and the appalling communication from the board.

Best atmosphere for a long time. Fair play to Leeds they create a great atmosphere at home. Fans all around the pitch with lots of standing and all ages singing their songs.

I will always compare us against Brighton. Brighton CEO on Talksport now and comes across very well.
